Surprisingly, the mayhem that ICE has wrought could get worse. In a heart-wrenching video, a father was dragged from his screaming and crying daughter in Oregon. The clip posted on Reddit began with the daughter’s panicked cries and sirens blaring, with a text overlay that read, “They tracked my dad down from the last time they let him go. Gold van took him, if anyone knows where he’s at pls pls let me know.”
The daughter lamented that her father was injured from the previous arrest, and they hurt him even more this time around. “He needs his medicine, pls, anything helps,” she pleaded. The nearly 5-minute clip showed about four ICE officials struggling to cuff the man, slamming him repeatedly into the wet floor as he refused to get into the car. Concerned locals approached the scene in a bid to help. However, they were threatened with weapons.
After the agents eventually shoved the father into the gold van, some locals used their cars to block the exit, only to be forced away by ICE agents. Within minutes, the clip ignited outrage online.“So much suffering for [expletive] what?” a user fumed. While another lamented, “Those screams… Pure terror and horror, I don’t understand how MAGA can see this and be like, ‘This is what I voted for’… Irredeemable monsters,” they lamented.
A Redditor was stuck on the fact that the ICE agents had come back to pick the father up again, “A 2nd time? I mean, wtf. There’s got to be some sort of litigation filed against this”. Another confessed, “I’ll be honest, I’m amazed there haven’t been stories about ICE killed, from people defending themselves or their loved ones.” A user wrote bluntly, “Until these terrorists identify themselves and are prosecuting a specific crime, these aren’t ‘arrests’. These are kidnappings, human trafficking, and acts of terrorism.” While another added grimly, “Traumatizing one community at a time. I can’t wait for the documentaries that come out of this era.”
Suddenly enlightened by the text overlay on the clip, a user noted, “God, I haven’t even thought about the fact that these people being detained are almost certainly without access to their necessary medications.” Echoing their thoughts, another added, “I hadn’t even considered the medicine angle. What happens to human beings that are illegally detained and kept without their medicine for hours/days/weeks… months?”
No further details has been shared about the identity of the father or daughter at the time of this writing.
