In a bizarre interaction in Columbus, Ohio, a man is seen engaging in a racist tantrum with a driver, a Black man, possibly stemming from a road rage incident. Weirdly enough, the man appeared to attempt to take off his pants and moon the driver, who recorded the strange and embarrassing moment.
Instagram account Abolition Heritage and Reddit user TheManager_1 shared the clip credited to user gthtee_hb, whose account appears to be inactive. The Columbus interaction starts with the man approaching the driver after being called a “White boy.”
Angrily, the man unbuckled his belt and started taking his pants off. This shocked an accompanying woman, who appears to be his wife. She frantically attempted to save him from making a fool of himself, to no avail.
Following the confusing and disturbing “mooning,” the man followed the regrettable “bending” incident with a racist outburst.
“White boy!” the man said as he raised his arms. “Ain’t no [expletive] [racial slur] here. I’m a [expletive] white man!”
The driver, with a much more laid-back demeanor, answered back, “Imma catch you around,” as shown in the video, also shared on X.
Business Identified, Users React
Many were quick to note that both the man and the woman were wearing matching hoodies. With the magic of frame freezing, the couple were linked to Burgett & Sons Concrete, a Columbus-based construction company. It’s probably not the best idea to act in such a deplorable manner while wearing your business logo.
However, most of the users reacted to and mocked the outlandish mooning attempt as a way to “clap back” at a provocative, albeit innocent, remark made by the driver.
“This man pulled his pants down to another man!! They not beating the allegations,” one user wrote. A second user asked, “Is this normal for men to pull down there [sic] pants when they are stepping to another man?” Meanwhile, a third one said, “I really thought this was a skit.”
Other comments pointed out the woman’s attempt to prevent the man from “exposing” himself, although unsuccessfully.
“His woman just saved him from taking an unexpected nap in the middle of the street with his pants around his ankle,” one user wrote. A second user said, “I suggest he listen to her and walk away if he knows what’s good for him.”
