Ignorant Boomer Accuses Florida Woman of Being from a Disrespectful Generation When She’s the One Who Ran into Her, ‘The Entitlement THAT Generation Uses to Manipulate is Atrocious’

The audacity of that woman is really something else

From the beginning of time, it was pushed on us that we should always be respectful of our elders. However, what happens when you don’t receive the same treatment? Far too many older generations expect respect without giving it to others themselves. A Florida woman was recently trying to have a relaxing day out shopping when a boomer ruined everything for her. According to her, “Old people have no respect” and she’s sick of it.

Maddie (@maddie_klecker) shared a TikTok story about some recent boomer-involved drama she experienced at HomeGoods. When Maddie was browsing purses at a HomeGoods store, an older woman ran into her forcefully. Then, she turned to Maddie and dared to say, “Your generation has no respect.” Maddie was baffled and wondered why the woman didn’t just say “excuse me” like any normal person would, so she could move out of her way.

Maddie then headed over to the vase section, and she was the only person in the aisle. Suddenly, the same older woman came down the same aisle with her cart. This time, Maddie decided to scoot closer to the vases so that she could give them some room. Maddie said the woman struck her with her cart. The woman then turned to Maddie and said, “You could have moved out of the aisle. You saw me trying to get through.” Sometimes, boomers prove again and again that they will go to any extent not to apologize! It’s also clear that they’ll constantly push the blame onto younger people.

At this point, Maddie said she was feeling overstimulated and wasn’t having fun shopping anymore. She took her goods to the extremely long checkout line. Maddie claimed that “three old ladies” asked her if they could cut in front of her in the line. She felt that the entitlement of these elderly people was too absolute. One of the women tried to challenge Maddie, claiming that she’s “young” and can easily stand in the aisle longer. I don’t think that’s a good reason to be rude to a young person.

One commenter said, “The entitlement THAT generation uses to manipulate is atrocious.” Another pointed out, “I also hate the ‘you’re young you can stand’ as someone with chronic pain in my spine. Like you can’t see it but standing a while hurts me too?” Something tells me that a boomer wouldn’t care. So many of these individuals from older generations clearly think too highly of only themselves and their own needs.
