Oregon Woman Terrified After TikTok Adds AI Clip Showing Her Doing Things She Never Did: ‘There Needs to Be a Class Action’

This is so scary

A woman recently shared that TikTok added an AI-generated clip to the end of her video without her doing it. In the clip, she was touching her hair and staring at the camera, which are both things she didn’t do. At the time, people told her that she probably had absence seizures. Well, the same thing just happened to an Oregon woman. She also came on TikTok and reminded people of what happened before and then said that it just happened to her too. According to her, she was filming a video talking about exercising and lifting weights when it happened. She was clipping some parts of her talking, and she made it clear that she didn’t pause at all during the entirety of the video.

this is a black mirror episode bro and this is has me tripping out thinking I’m crazy because I know I was speaking but THAT IS NOT ME #ai #tiktok #wtf

“I know for a fact that I didn’t space out or dissociate,” the Oregon woman continued. She then said that she doesn’t have absence seizures so people couldn’t use this as an excuse for what happened next. She found a clip at the end of her video where she was licking her lips, staring at herself, and playing with her sports bra’s straps. “I was not [expletive] doing that,” she insisted. The woman then shared the video so no one would tell her she was lying. At the beginning of it, you could see her talking normally without any pauses. What’s shocking is the next clip. As soon as it started, you could feel that something was off.

It was clear that the clip was made by AI. The gestures the video showed the woman doing didn’t look normal at all. “I swear to God on my life,” she said as she repeated that it wasn’t her in the clip. “We are cooked,” she then said pointing out how AI is getting scarier with each passing day. In another video, she stated that the actions in the clip weren’t her mannerisms at all. She also pointed out some things that changed in the clip, such as the shape of her face. Since some might assume that she was doing this for views, the woman clarified that she wasn’t lying and she doesn’t even want the attention. I honestly believe her, especially since this isn’t the first time the same thing has happened to someone.

People Reacting to the Oregon Woman’s Video

The Oregon woman’s video left a lot of people shocked as many believed what she was saying. The AI clip looked weird enough to make it stand out. Since this happened to several women, one woman said, “there needs to be a class action.” A lot of women also left comments saying that they went through the same exact thing. “THIS HAPPENED TO ME ON IG! I was on there talking about something that I was cooking, dry hair, makeup on, dressed. When I went to share it it was a video of my dying my hair, bare faced in my pjs.I dyed my hair last month but never filmed it,” another woman wrote.

A third woman also added, “I saw another version of myself as soon as I opened IG. It was so fast I didn’t have time to react or get details. Not sure if it’s worth a story time. BUT IT FREAKED ME THE [expletive] OUT. I WAS WEARING CLOTHES I DO NOT OWN.” It is definitely terrifying. Others pointed out that the movements in this AI clip were the same ones that appeared in the first victim’s video. “Those were the exact same movements that were in the other girls video ‼‼!” one person wrote. Another netizen then said, “Same thing the other girls did. Same movements everything.”

Despite all these victims coming forward, some people still tried to convince the Oregon woman that she had absence seizures. This made her write, “I vividly remember speaking. I’m also a medical professional. I’ve seen absent seizures, they don’t look like that. And if i had them, my partner who I’m with 24/7 or my coworkers or patients I’m with on 13 hour shifts would’ve noticed. Or i would’ve caught in on camera any of the other thousands of times I’ve filmed. That’s not my face or my mannerism.” The way she looked terrified while she was talking, and all the stories other people shared make it very likely that she is telling the truth.
