Megyn Kelly recently sparked outrage following some viral comments she made concerning Jeffrey Epstein. Everybody is interested in the scandalous and unnerving Epstein case, which keeps getting more disturbing as time goes on. Now, Megyn is under scrutiny for an absurd take that doesn’t sit right with anybody. In fact, it’s so creepy that even a Utah teen is speaking out against it and making sure we condemn anyone who thinks the same way.
TikToker Eloise (@cheeringforchange) posts her perfectly constructed political views for all to hear. The greatest thing about her is that she’s still a teenager in high school and she is so interested in and well-spoken about her political views! In a recent video shared to r/goodnews, Eloise discusses distressing statements made by political commentator Megyn Kelly. She points out that Megyn Kelly said Epstein “wasn’t into eight-year-olds, just the barely legal type.”
Eloise says that she thinks Megyn needs a “reality check” for these disgusting comments. She goes on to say that she goes to school with a bunch of 15-year-olds. She said “some of us have baby faces” and “braces” yet. Eloise goes on, “The fact that a grown woman needs a teenager to explain that is honestly terrifying.” Under federal law, anybody under 18 is considered a “child,” Eloise reminds her audience.
To be clear, Megyn Kelly said it isn’t fair to call Epstein a predator. Why? Because he was into “barely legal” minors, “like, 15-year-olds” who merely look like legal adults. So, if a literal child looks like they’re older than their age, I guess that means they’re fair game to Megyn. And honestly, that’s just so sickening. Megyn tried to backtrack after she spat those disturbing words out at her listeners. She said, “I realize this is disgusting. I’m definitely not trying to make an excuse for this. I’m just giving you facts, that he wasn’t into, like, 8-year-olds.” There’s no other way to twist it: Megyn’s victim-blaming and problematic opinions are so garbage and so harmful.
Thankfully, commenters agree that Megyn’s opinions are wrong and need to be challenged, just as Eloise (a literal teenager) decided to do. One person stated, “A smart, well-spoken, and brave teen to fight back against Kelly’s disgusting comments. And she’s right, it’s not a teenage girl’s job to tell a lawyer with a national platform what a child is.” Another person pointed out, “Megyn Kelly has a 14 year old daughter which makes her take extra eye opening.” People like Megyn will truly use their platform for evil.
