You would think that most of those who hate Donald Trump are adults, but it turns out this isn’t the case. Apparently, even kids are not fans of Trump. Some kids even hate him to the point where they don’t want to acknowledge him as the president. This situation happened with a Florida teacher whose first-grade students did just that. She shared a video telling her students the question that they had to answer which started all of this: “Who is the president of the United States today?” As soon as she finished saying it, the kids started yelling. You could clearly hear one of them repeatedly saying, “I hate him.” That would have hurt my feelings.
After the Florida teacher calmed down her students, she said that she doesn’t like Trump either but he remains the correct answer. “No,” one student yelled. When she asked them who they should write then if they won’t write Donald Trump, they didn’t hesitate to offer alternatives. One girl suggested “Kamala” despite pronouncing her name wrong. Another kid suggested George Washington. When she told them to write Trump’s name, they protested again and said no. Finally, to make them answer the question, the teacher told them to just write D.T. It’s better than nothing, right?
People Reacting to the Florida Teacher’s Video
It’s not surprising that the majority of people in the comments were delighted by the response the Florida teacher’s students had. Several comments pointed out how even kids hate Trump as one person said, “Even the babies are upset.” Another person shared the same opinion and wrote, “He’s upsetting our babies omg.” Others sympathized with the kid who yelled that he hates Trump. “‘i hate himmm, i hate him’ that poor baby! I feel the same way,” one woman wrote. Someone took the matter seriously and was upset that kids are reacting like this. “im laughing but actually no this really isn’t funny is it. Our president should not be stressing out BABIES this badly,” they wrote. Frankly, they’ve got a point.
Some comments even suggested what the Florida teacher should have told her students to write. “Answer: ‘Orange man’,” one person said. Another person then wrote, “Just put ‘the devil’ and call it a day.” Apparently, even kids who have other nationalities hate Trump too, since one woman commented, “I’m Australian, and my 5yr old calls him ‘the red man’ whenever he’s on the news over here. And gets cranky when she sees him. ‘Change the channel! I don’t like The Red Man‼’ And that’s just completely based on her own judgement. Love it.” Yeah, it’s fair to say he isn’t too popular with people in general.
