Many people might see someone in danger and simply turn a blind eye. Thankfully, a heroic Missouri woman did the opposite. While at her local Casey’s, she noticed a creepy man carrying a pistol, but what truly alarmed her was the teenage girl with him, who looked to be around 15. Right away, she sensed something was wrong. The girl didn’t seem to belong with the man, especially with the inappropriate way he was touching her. Making the situation even more disturbing, the teen was wearing a leather collar and kept addressing him with, “Thank you, sir.” Everything about the scene screamed trouble. Unable to walk away and leave the girl behind, the woman quickly got into her car and began following them as they drove off.
The Missouri woman was filming herself while chasing the car, saying she had called the local cops. At this point, the cops had the license plate and were aware of the situation. Thankfully, the state patrol took the matter seriously since the woman suddenly saw two of their cars joining her on the road. Finally, they caught up to him and managed to make him stop. While the video wasn’t clear when the woman tried to film the state patrol, she said that they put him in handcuffs. Once she made sure that the police arrested the man, she started driving away and kept praying that the girl would be safe. She also advised people always to speak up if they feel something is wrong.
The woman didn’t stop at saving the little girl. She also made sure to call the authorities and ask them about her until they informed her that she was okay. In another post, she shared that the girl had already been reported missing. The statement said that it was still under investigation and that the girl could have special needs. In addition, a comment under the post said they received an Amber Alert for the girl. Who knows what could have happened to her if the woman hadn’t intervened?
People Reacting to the Missouri Woman Saving the Little Girl
What the Missouri woman did left people in awe, especially given how the situation ended. Since she was just at Casey’s for 10 minutes when she noticed the girl, one woman told her, “You were meant to be there. God is so good‼” Another person said, “Oh dear Lord, you SAVED her. She was a kidnapper girl from Missouri‼ Praise God‼” Someone also wondered how the woman was the only one to do something. “A young girl had a leash around her neck and only ONE person said something? Thank you,” they wrote. Apparently, people there didn’t care because the woman replied to someone and said, “There was 15 people waiting in line at Casey’s behind me and not one of them said or did anything. I even pointed them out and they just shrugged their shoulders and went about their business. Makes me sick.”
More people praised the heroic woman for what she did. “Wow! Just wow. In all the scariest/ saddest ways possible BUT also in all the amazing /incredible life ultimately ways! WOW. Thank you,” one person said. Another person also wrote, “Ma’am, YOU make this world go ‘round. You became the change this world needs to see. Bravo Mama – I cant even find the words. Divine Femininity at its finest‼” Since some people thought that this might be a misunderstanding, someone had to write, “it’s better to be wrong about the situation after speaking up then right about your intuition about the situation and not speaking up.” They have got a point. That woman was at the right place at the right time.
