Food delivery apps like DoorDash have only continued to grow in popularity over recent years. However, with that being said, not every delivery is going to go smoothly. That’s exactly what this Ohio DoorDash driver experienced while making a simple drop off. A TikTok video recently posted to the account @tiffianygoodloe1985 shows the odd encounter as the video strives for viral status. Social media users seemingly can’t get enough of this Grand Theft Auto, as the video has around 200 likes and 5K views.

The TikTok starts off with a person inside their home, watching their Ring doorbell footage. In the security camera’s video, the Ohio DoorDash driver can be seen making the drop off, as well as taking a photo of the delivery. This is a pretty standard procedure, as the customer as well as the company need to know the food was received.

Dayton is a really fucked up place Kids ordered DoorDash. He walked up on the porch to take the picture and someone pulled up on him and stole his car while he was on my porch delivering food. 🤦🏾‍♀️

Ohio DoorDash Driver Gets Car Stolen As TikTok Reacts

As the man is taking the photo, another vehicle can be seen pulling up to his car. While this may seem pretty normal with the man being parked on the street, something is definitely off. Soon after the second vehicle had stopped, it sped off again, this time with the man’s vehicle following close behind. The car had dropped a passenger off in order to steal the DoorDash driver’s vehicle.

The TikTok comment section couldn’t wrap its head around this one. Many would flock to the video in order to leave behind their own opinions on the matter at hand. “Why would you ever leave your car running in Dayton, Ohio?” asked one. “I live in Dayton, and have had my car stolen too,” stated another. “I hate the city we live in,” pointed out another comment. Finally, one other said, “He knew better,” regarding the DoorDash driver. It would appear that many Dayton natives don’t necessarily love their city, and this DoorDash driver probably just joined that list.

As the security footage comes to an end, the person filming the TikTok pans their camera over to their living room, where the Ohio DoorDash driver is sitting. The man is on the phone, probably with the police, as his car was just stolen. However, it was very nice of the customer to allow the man into their home like that. While DoorDash may be easy to order, it seems it can be a tall task to deliver the food. Hopefully, this man was able to get his car back in an orderly fashion so he can continue with his job as well as his life.
