Eorzea is once again hosting its Starlight Celebration, which means it is the best time for all Warriors of Light to get their festive spirits on. Like previous years, this event is bringing a new quest, brand-new rewards, including an emote, and even some items from past events are returning for a limited time. So, if you want to embrace the holiday spirit in this MMO, here’s a quick guide to everything coming to the Starlight Celebration 2025 event of FFXIV.

[Note: We will update the guide with the quest steps once the event goes live.]

The Starlight Celebration 2025 event of FFXIV goes live on December 17 and will end on December 31. That means you have two whole weeks to complete this seasonal event, which is usually relatively short, so it won’t take a lot of time.

As usual, this event will feature an exclusive quest, and this new one is called “We Three Kinderpunsch.” You can begin the quest by heading to Old Gridania (X: 10.2, Y: 9.4) and speaking to Amh Garanjy. The requirements to start the quest are also easy, as all you need is a job at level 15. It doesn’t matter if it’s a combat or gathering/crafting-oriented job.

Once you talk to Amh Garanjy, you’ll go through the quest that will eventually reward you with the Ballroom Etiquette – Local Libations item, which includes the following emotes:

  • Gridanian Sip
  • Ul’dahn Sip
  • Lominsan Sip
  • Gridanian Gulp
  • Ul’dahn Gulp
  • Lominsan Gulp

On top of that, you’ll be able to obtain the following housing items, and they also provide some bonuses, such as experience and stat boosts, but they have limited uses.

  • Ul’dahn Kinderpunsch
  • Lominsan Kinderpunsch
  • Ul’dahn Starlight Mugs
  • Lominsan Starlight Mugs

The official website for the event also mentions that some items from previous Starlight Celebrations are returning. However, the complete list is still unknown, so we will update it once the vendor appears on the event day.

If you’re not a fan of the holiday event, patch 7.4 is launching a day before, and it brings the conclusion to the Arcadion raid series, a new MSQ, the long-awaited glamour overhaul, and more. So, with or without an event, now’s the perfect time to return to Eorzea once more and start getting your glamour dresser ready or just amassing these Kinderpunsch mugs for your home or apartment.
