Shocked California Woman Reveals Her Father Was Nearly Trafficked at Rancho Cordova Grocery Store: ‘No One Is Too Old Anymore’

Extremely worrying.

A woman revealed, shaking, that her father was almost trafficked at a grocery store in Rancho Cordova, California. Apparently, age is no longer a factor.

I’m shook 😖 I report on this stuff all the time, but it doesn’t usually happen to me or my family and honestly like I’m in shock… #humantrafficking #psa #ranchocordova #predators #awareness

The chilling story was shared on TikTok by Genevieve Castiglione. She, being a usual reporter on human trafficking cases, detailed how her father was almost a victim of the same crime while at the Bel Air Fresh Market in Rancho Cordova, California.

According to her, her father was running errands at the market and had parked at the back of the parking lot, given that so many people were Christmas shopping. The man noticed a brand-new station wagon parked near him, with the lights on and the engine not running.

That was the first red flag.

Next, the man entered the Bel Air and, when he walked out, the cars were gone except for the station wagon. While carrying his bags, a strange, bearded, tall man approached Genevieve’s father and asked for help with his car.

“My car is over there. I just need you to come over to my car and help me,” the suspicious man said, according to Genevieve.

Immediately, the California father refused, knowing all too well, as he had seen his daughter’s videos, that it was most likely a tactic to abduct him. The potential human trafficker insisted and even tried to hand something to the innocent father. He refused, of course, and raced to his vehicle.

No Age Limit, Reactions

Suddenly, a second man emerged from behind the father’s car and ran over to the station wagon, as per Genevieve. Once inside his vehicle, the California father was accosted by the strangers, one of them banging on his car window. The man honked his car horn repeatedly, and the unknown men eventually left the area.

“He firmly believes they were trying to take him, they were trying to human traffic him,” Genevieve said.

The woman refuted the claim that human trafficking victims are of a certain age, as healthy people are good enough for criminals to “harvest their organs.” Responding to a comment, Genevieve said, “No one is too old anymore, unfortunately.”

Users were equally shocked to hear the California woman’s nightmare story involving her dad. One user said, “We all need to stay very alert! Your father is smart I’m happy he is ok!” Another one commented, “I’m so glad your dad is safe and ok.” A third one added, “Thank you. I definitely thought I was too old. Glad your father is safe.”
