Anti-Trump Texas Man Fired Shortly After Receiving FMLA Approval, Calls It Retaliation and Racially Motivated: ‘You Need To Speak to a Lawyer ASAP’

No justification.

Texas Man Reveals He Was Fired As Retaliation

An anti-Trump TikToker from The Colony, Texas, recently revealed that he was fired out of the blue, with no explanation. According to him, this happened shortly after he received FMLA approval, and while he denied that his political opinions had anything to do with it, he believes his firing was some sort of retaliation, maybe even racially motivated.

The news was shared by the man himself, Judah, whose TikTok username is longlivejudah. He revealed that he had been recently fired, calling it a form of retaliation and even wrongful termination. He clarified, “I did nothing wrong,” and revealed he had just received FMLA approval. That is, job-protected leave.

Judah went on to point out the company’s micromanagement issues, saying that he had to walk on eggshells constantly. Despite that, he was “adamant” on doing nothing wrong, as he sought to grow his career through this job, regardless of how tense the culture could get. He stayed at the company for two and a half years.

“The fact of the matter is that I just turned 30 years old, it is January 9th, and I am now unemployed in Donald Trump’s America,” Judah added.

Prior to his firing, Judah was known for his anti-Trump political posts, calling him a dictator. He recently talked about Renée Good’s death, killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, Minnesota. While some employers might find politics, regardless of where one finds themselves on the spectrum, problematic, Judah clarified that his online presence had nothing to do with the firing.

Racially Motivated? Reactions

The Texas man, however, suggested that his firing might have been racially motivated. He revealed he was the last Black employee in that position at the company, which remains unnamed.

“Now they don’t have any [Black employees],” Judah said. “Because the ones that did have either quit or got fired. You think that’s a [expletive] coincidence? I’m not dumb enough to believe it is.”

Many users were outraged by the Texas man’s sudden and inexplicable loss of employment, urging him to take action against the company.

“If you were approved for FMLA, you need to speak to a lawyer ASAP,” one user said. Another one commented, “I’m also unemployed in Trump’s America, and I’m also angry. I understand, and I empathize with you…” A third one added, “Do not be embarrassed! The corporate world is volatile!”

Many online have supported Judah by donating to a fundraiser he set up to help him through this difficult time. He has raised more than $9,000 out of a $16,000 goal.
