MAGA-Favorite Account Tries to Harass Anti-ICE First Grade Teacher in California for Flipping the American Flag: ‘Queen Behavior’

Now that’s something controversial

As ICE agents have become more visible in recent months, their supporters have increasingly targeted and harassed people who openly oppose them. This pattern has played out repeatedly and is now affecting an anti-ICE first-grade teacher in California.

A MAGA-aligned account, Libs of TikTok, shared a post that effectively doxed the teacher after taking issue with her stance. The post on X included both a screenshot identifying the teacher, Bailey Hill Ringer, and a video they were criticizing.

The video appeared to have been filmed inside Ringer’s classroom while no students were present. At the start of the clip, an American flag could be seen hanging properly on the wall. The teacher then entered the frame, removed the flag, flipped it, and rehung it in the altered position.

The post quickly drew attention, exposing the teacher to widespread online harassment. Critics argued that targeting an elementary school teacher in this way was dangerous and irresponsible, especially given the history of online mobs forming after similar posts. Others pointed out that filming inside an empty classroom and expressing a political view should not result in personal information being broadcast to a large audience.

The incident has reignited concerns about doxing, online harassment, and the real-world consequences that can follow when influential accounts single out private individuals.

Meet Bailey Hill Ringer, a first grade teacher at Audubon Elementary school in @sdschools.

She turned the American Flag in her classroom upside down and put up an “abolish ICE” sign in her classroom to protest ICE.

The California teacher flipping the American flag wasn’t the only issue that drew criticism from Libs of TikTok. She had also placed a small sign on her classroom wall that read “Abolish ICE,” which further angered the account’s supporters.

That detail intensified the backlash. Critics quickly began attacking the teacher online and calling for her to be fired. This appeared to be the goal of the account, which posted, “Is this acceptable behavior for your teachers?” while tagging San Diego Unified School District. The post also included her school’s phone number, encouraging followers to contact administrators directly.

After the teacher later deleted the video, the account posted another update, writing, “UPDATE: Bailey just deleted this video from her TikTok. Too late Bailey… we have the receipts.” The message further fueled online harassment.

Soon after, others began sharing additional personal information about her, including her LinkedIn profile. Critics argued that this behavior crossed the line from political disagreement into coordinated harassment, putting a private individual at risk for expressing her views.

People Reacting to the Video of the Anti-ICE Teacher in California

Despite the backlash, some people in the replies spoke up in support of the California teacher. “Queen behavior, she’s making a statement that should be stated,” one woman wrote, praising her for standing by her beliefs.

At the same time, it was unsurprising that she continued to face harassment from followers of Libs of TikTok. Even so, some users pushed back against the attacks. “She is exercising her ‘freedom of expression.’ She is not murdering anyone. Lastly, she is not protecting a pedophile… while you do,” one commenter wrote in her defense.

Others dismissed the outrage altogether. “Is she in the Epstein files? No? Then who cares what she thinks about ICE?” another person asked.

The mixed reactions highlighted how polarizing the situation had become, with some viewing the teacher’s actions as protected expression and others treating them as justification for harassment.

However, the majority of replies focused on attacking the California teacher for flipping the flag and expressing anti-ICE views. “Any teacher pushing their personal agenda and ideologies on children should be fired,” one person wrote. Another commented, “Totally unacceptable! Politics are inappropriate in elementary and middle schools. Students should not know which party teachers favor.”

Many users went further, openly calling for her termination with comments such as “Pull license,” “Fire her!” and “Terminate her, now!” Some responses were even more extreme. One person labeled her a traitor and wrote, “She should be deported to a communist country. Stand that traitor in front of a wall. If you have kids in this school, you should pull them out as fast as possible. Wow, the treason is so disgusting.”

For many observers, these remarks crossed the line from criticism into intimidation, highlighting how quickly online backlash can escalate into hostile and disproportionate attacks.
