‘Something Felt Off’: Tennessee Uber Eats Driver Shocked After Unhinged Customer Allegedly Punt-Kicked His $506 Order

The food had too much of a kick to it

A Uber Eats driver in Tennessee shared his concerns on r/UberEatsDrivers over a $506 order from Baskin-Robbins. It wasn’t just the outrageous delivery cost that shocked the driver, but also how the customer treated it upon arrival. The recipient allegedly punt-kicked the food before handing over an extra $20 tip, leaving the driver and hundreds of other Redditors scratching their heads.

Could this be a mistake?

Going by the username WalkEmDown, the Uber Eats driver posted a screenshot of the $506 because he thought it wasn’t real. Later, he commented, updating on what happened during the delivery. Apparently, the customer had acted “really weird” but “nice” before punt-kicking the order and complaining about “being double-dashed.”

“He tipped me an extra $20 an tried tipping more but I left in a hurry because something felt off,” WalkEmDown recalled, but didn’t share any further updates. Many Redditors in the comments pointed out how it might have been a mistake, meaning that the “$506” could have been a mistype for “$5.06.”

Still, many commenters strongly encouraged WalkEmDown to take the order without question. “I’d take a gamble on it! It’s a guaranteed tip, so if the customer put the decimal point in the wrong place, it’s between them and Uber,” suggested a user. “This gotta be the highest paying offer ive seen on this app,” remarked a second in disbelief.

Many Commenters Believe The Customer Was Actually a Famous TikToker Who ‘Pranks’ DoorDashers

A large handful of commenters believed that this odd customer could have been TikToker Suspiciouskindness, an influencer known for punt-kicking food deliveries and tipping drivers above and beyond the average. “It’s unhinged but he’s actually cool and he gives away a LOT of money doing this. Lol I can’t believe you got so lucky!” exclaimed one person.

On the other hand, there were a few who doubted WalkEmDown’s story, as the map allegedly shows a portion of Memphis, whereas Suspiciouskindness is said to be in Ohio, as he can even be seen interacting with Dayton Police in one of his videos. “You can pretty easily find the address from this screenshot and it doesn’t match up at all with the tiktok guy’s house,” explains a user.

Due to a lack of details in the post, it’s unclear whether this Tennessee Uber Eats driver actually met the famous TikToker. Though many have agreed that $506 with a $20 tip for an order is definitely not common.
