She points to new laws aimed at expanding worker protections across Virginia and the establishment of a paid family and medical leave program set to launch in 2028 as key accomplishments in tackling the high cost of living and investing in the workforce.
Governor Spanberger states that her administration has “hit the ground running” by tackling the high cost of living, bringing new business investment to Virginia, investing in the workforce, and contending with what she describes as reckless economic policies from Washington. She concludes with the line, “And we’re just getting started.”
