A Connecticut woman’s TikTok video is exploding online, after she recorded herself flexing for the camera. Suddenly, another woman in the changing room interrupts her, assuming the woman was a man and harasses her for her presence.
TikTok user Soult2lk posted the video on her profile, which captured the interaction in real time. While making killer flexes in the mirror, Soul is already talking to the Karen. “You’re all in my Kool-Aid, girl,” Soul says. She then appears from around the corner.
“Excuse me? You want to be in this dressing room? This is the women’s dressing room. Excuse me?” the woman says to Soul. She waves her hands around to get her attention, who is clearly annoyed by the entire situation. It’s clear the Karen mistook her for a man and is now trying to incite drama over it.
The woman continues to ask, “Excuse me?” until Soul exclaims, “Leave me the [expletive] alone!” Soul then tells her, “Mind your business!” At this point, the Karen backs off and walks away but she can’t help but mumble under her breath that Soul was “mean.” From the caption of Soul’s video, this isn’t the first time she’s dealt with that kind of harassment. “It’s exhausting being me,” Soul admits in the caption.
In an update, she says she’s surprised by how viral her Karen interaction video went. She explains to her audience, “I already told the lady I was a woman before I even started recording.” Because apparently to that Karen, all women have to look the same!
Naturally, people online call the Karen out
Not only did people on TikTok make fun of the woman for making a fuss over Soul’s appearance, but praised Soul for her posing. “The poses mid diss is cooking tf outta me, you look good!! ✨✨✨”
One TikTok user called out the Karen for her obvious hypocrisy, “‘You’re mean?’ Mind you she came to you 😩.” Others tried to defend the woman, arguing it must of been an honest mistake. Several users disagreed, saying Soul still looks like a woman and it was the Karen’s fault for being “nosey.”
Many argued Soul handled it the right way, even pointing out how she “tried to ignore” the woman before letting her have it. So, someone being intentionally rude or an honest mistake? Given the info Soul shared in her update video, the Karen apparently already knew, so it’s learning toward the former.
