Getting stuck in Starlit Rite for an annoying bug and spending Starlit Ore to find unique items are the newest additions to Path of Exile 2 after the Return of the Ancients update. You’ll need to follow the exact order to complete the quest and learn how to get Starlit Ore and Runeforging if you want to level up your old gear and give it a fresh start in Path of Exile 2. Not confusing at all.
How To Complete the Starlit Rite Quest?
Starlit Rite is a quest in Path of Exile 2, Return of the Ancients endgame update. So, to keep it simple, there’s a new crafting system in the game called Runeforging, and to unlock it, you’ll have to complete a set of quests, one of which is Starlit Rite. Now, how you can complete the Starlit Rite quest is self-explanatory in the game; however, there’s a bug that’s currently biting everyone who doesn’t finish the job right.
The quest is about reaching a chamber at Lost Catacombs, completing an interaction, and going back. Simple. But you must talk to Farrow, who’s sitting outside, to mark the Starlit Rite quest as complete in Path of Exile 2. If he’s sitting and doing nothing, then something is wrong with the quest, and if you don’t go back to talk to him, you’ll be stuck in the quest.
Heading back to town, talking to Farrow again, and running the quest again by creating a new instance of the Lost Catacombs seems to fix the Starlit Rite quest issue in Path of Exile 2.
How To Get Starlit Ore?
Runeforging with the Verisium Anvil in Path of Exile 2 costs different types of Verisium for basic items and Starlit Ore for advanced upgrades. As you’d expect, finding the Starlit Ore is not an easy task, but if you put in the time, you’ll get as many as you want.
So first, you’ll need to find Expedition Logbooks by killing red runic monsters. The level of the logbook should be more than 79, which grants you the fight with Olroth, Origin of the Fall. Killing Olroth is a guaranteed way to farm Starlit Ore in Path of Exile 2.
Now there are different versions of the Starlit Ore in the game, and killing Olroth will give you the “Revered” variant, which is one of the rarest. However, currently, there are no other farming methods for the other Ore types that drop randomly.
