A woman in Los Angeles, California, was shocked and left speechless when her toddler daughter, allegedly out of the blue, told her she was pregnant. She then took a pregnancy test, showing that the 3-year-old was correct in her prediction.
Ace Cross, an influencer known as Ace Fully Alive, shared the interaction on TikTok. She regularly shares lifestyle and family content with her 5.1 million followers online. Still, the clip attached above went viral, garnering 2.1 million views, 354,700 likes, and close to 1,900 comments in less than a day.
The California woman, as seen in the clip, was assisting her 3-year-old daughter while the girl painted. With a brush with green paint in her hand, the girl suddenly turned around, looked at Ace’s belly, and then asked her mother something life-changing.
“Mommy, is there a baby in your belly?” the girl said. Ace asked her back, in shock, “A baby in my belly?” The girl, without thinking twice, said, “I want a baby sister.”
Results In: Very Pregnant
Slightly panicking, Ace went ahead and purchased a pregnancy test. While waiting for the results, she provided a bit of context. She revealed that she hadn’t gotten her period after her son, her second, was born. However, she had been warned by her doctor that, even though she was breastfeeding, she could still get pregnant.
“I don’t know if I’m ready for a third,” she said. “But when are you ever really ready? […] If it’s positive, we got a surprise baby.”
After holding her daughter, who said she wanted a baby sister, again, Ace revealed the results to the camera. There were two straight lines. She was, indeed, pregnant with her third child.
Shocked to her core, the California woman eventually called her husband over. The man took a minute before reacting to the positive pregnancy test, saying, “What? You’re joking,” followed by nervous laughter.
