When a woman notices a creepy man in her business at a California store, it puts her on guard. Suddenly, she notices that the man is taking pictures of her. She follows him through the store because she isn’t about to let him get away with it.
Tiana (@ohthistiana) notices a man is recording her while she’s shopping at a retail store in California. When he tries to make an escape, Tiana isn’t about to stand for it. She says that “this is why women are so scared of men” and jumps into action. Grabbing her cart, she follows him through the entirety of the store while he’s pushing his cart and trying to make a getaway. She tries to get him to own up to his actions and asks him, “Hello? Sir, turn around!” so she can film him on her own camera.
She demands to know if he was recording her on his phone. Tiana tells the man that she’ll be “calling the police.” She also lets him know, “I’m recording you and following you, too.” She then calls him a “weirdo” and follows him through aisle after aisle. He never slows down or looks at her but she continues on through the entirety of the store as they make their way to the front.
Eventually, Tiana comes across a male employee. She says to the employee, “Excuse me, sir. This man was following me around. He was recording me.” At this point, the creepy customer turns around to show the employee his phone. Unfortunately, he had plenty of time to delete his photos and recordings in-between the back and front of the store. Tiana said in the caption to her video that the man “ran out of the store before anything could happen.” She’ll never know if he had photos on his phone or not.
The video sparked reactions, with many agreeing that the man likely got rid of the evidence. One stated, “He was deleting it.” Other commenters showed appreciation for Tiana, saying she took a stand when she noticed something was wrong. One commented, “I’m glad you confronted him ‘cause most won’t.”
Other commenters pointed out that they noticed the man had two phones at the time, one for use and one as a backup. One commenter asked, “The way he put away his other phone… what was on the other phone?” The video continues to bring in reactions of concern and support for Tiana.
