The Crew Motorfest Season 10 Preview – One of the Biggest Yet

A promising season

While I haven’t been a hardcore The Crew Motorfest player, I do admit that since the release of Season 9, I’ve grabbed this open-world racing title more often than not. And while I loved what the studio did with The Crew Motorfest in its last season, Season 10 looks just as promising, with a brand-new playlist and the biggest time-attack challenge to date. On top of that, there are just so many new vehicles to collect that you’ll be spending a lot of time racing through this tropical paradise again.

Late Shows and Long Tracks

Many of you already know that Season 10 for The Crew Motorfest is right around the corner. I was lucky enough to try it before its release, and you’re all in for a treat. For starters, we all know that our vehicle lineup will get bigger, with this season drip-feeding a few of them in the coming weeks. So far, I’ve tried most of them, with the real standouts being the new Alpine vehicles and a gorgeous Ferrari 250 GTO, which I took to my favorite track in the game. While I always love seeing new additions for us to potentially add to our collection, the truth is that the highlight was the playable content, mainly the new playlist: The Motorfest Late Show and the stunning and extremely challenging Hawaii Grand Tour.

The first thing I tried as soon as I fired up the preview build was The Motorfest Late Show. This new playlist takes a fresh spin on the Late Show format, focusing on car culture, challenging races, and trying out some shiny new rides. What I really liked about the playlist was how deep it goes into the design of each new vehicle, which is also a treat for me, as I still consider The Crew Motorfest among the most immersive racing titles out there that care about car culture. And well, testing the new rides was just as great, but I just loved the whole Late Show vibe that the new content is going for, which will fortunately bring even more stages as the season progresses.

However, my absolute favorite part of this season is, undoubtedly, the Hawaii Grand Tour. Essentially, it is a 1-hour time-attack that takes all racers across Hawaii as you try the aforementioned Ferrari. Now, when I started this monumental challenge, I had to admit that I sat back, relaxed, and just prepared for what I thought would be a relaxing ride. Then, after seeing that I was at 44% of the full track at the 30-minute mark, I realized I was doing something wrong with my driving skills.

In all seriousness, the Hawaii Grand Tour is one of the best events I’ve played that completely justifies the hefty entry price. What makes it so good is the fact that it takes you across all of Hawaii, but in ways that make the 1-hour challenge feel extremely dynamic and varied. You begin at the docks, racing between containers, transition to the lush jungles and rainforests, and even some gravity-defying parts that make this event a cinematic experience for everyone to enjoy. While you can get the Ferrari just by participating, which I appreciate as participating cost me 2,000,000 bucks, there’s also a special reward for those completing the track under 58 minutes, which, after my third attempt, I still haven’t been able to do.

There are also new kits for Track Forge creatives out there, which I didn’t try a lot, as I am not the best track editor, but I think those who love this mode will have a blast, as Season 10 has added several things to Track Forge that many The Crew Motorfest fans have been asking for.

An Exciting Season

Overall, The Crew Motorfest Season 10 is yet another excellent season, which I feel is at the level of the previous one, if not higher, due to the sheer scope of it this time. While I enjoyed most of my time in the new 1-hour special event, there are so many interesting additions that will cater to all drivers. The best thing, however, is that I only got to taste a bit of what is coming in the whole season, so if this is just a peek of what is coming in the next months, I can’t wait to see what else we’ll see in the new playlist and other activities across this racing paradise.
