Many might still think that Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a remaster, but it is a full-on remake, meaning there’s a lot of new content for players to experience. While Ubisoft has done an excellent job of showing every single feature coming to this iteration, we’ve also made a list of all the new content you’ll be able to play once you get behind the Jackdaw’s helm and start sailing these unforgettable waters.
All New Content in Black Flag Resynced
Before we go into the list, let’s talk about what hasn’t changed much in the remake. For starters, the story remains mainly unchanged. There are no more present-day sequences, meaning that everything takes place during Edward’s journey. Also, in terms of mission objectives and pacing, the majority remain unchanged, with a few having fewer “tailing” parts like in the original.
Now, as for the general things that have changed with the remake, we have an overhauled combat system, better naval combat, weapon types with distinct heavy attacks, trinkets with passive bonuses, and pets.
