Besides the Jackdaw, Great Inagua will likely be the second place you’ll be spending most of your time on. However, you won’t only be there for story purposes; you’ll have to visit it to upgrade it, especially if you want to improve your equipment, get better material yields, and unlock some free helpers across the Caribbean. Since there’s a lot to do here, we’ll tell you what the best upgrades you can get for your hideout in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced are.
Hideout Upgrade Priority in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced

Before you even want to start thinking about what to spend your Reales on, you should know that you won’t unlock the ability to upgrade your hideout until you complete the “This Old Cove” quest. Once you finish that mission, you’ll be able to work on Great Inagua as you see fit.
Now, as to what you should pick first, here’s our personal order, as we think some facilities offer better features than others.
Harbourmaster (Level 3): The first thing you should focus on is unlocking and upgrading the Harbourmaster to its max level, which is 3. Doing so will unlock every single upgrade for the Jackdaw. That means you can work toward upgrading cannons, hull, and more to their highest tier. Tuning up Kenway’s ship will be an expensive ride, but one that will be worth it in every sense.
General Store (Level 3): Once your ship is ready, move toward the General Store, also on its highest level. By doing that, you’ll unlock several new outfits and weapons to purchase, but most importantly, the ability to purchase almost every single crafting material in the game, which is great if you’re not a big fan of hunting or pursuing some sea creatures.
Fisherman’s Wharf: If you do enjoy hunting, then you’ll want to focus on unlocking the Fisherman’s Wharf, which is one of the cheapest hideout upgrades in Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, or at least one that only has a single tier. Once you have it, you’ll get passive income for the hideout and better yields from sea animals, which is pretty useful.
Treasure Dealer: Lastly, try to unlock the Treasure Dealer. It shouldn’t be a priority, as you’ll be assembling maps later in the game, but this facility also gives you passive income, as well as some Legendary weapon offerings, which are extremely powerful, and you can get them just by farming some materials.
In the end, it is up to you what to pursue first, but we recommend following this path, as it will give you the best bang for your in-game buck.
