Besides defeating golems and blighted enemies, Koo can also perform some crafting actions in Beast of Reincarnation, even if that sounds a bit strange. After a bit of playing and discovering the right items, you’ll unlock the ability to create your own items, which is quite useful, especially if you want to save your Amber for weapon upgrades or other purchases. Yet, since the game doesn’t tell you when this happens, we’ve made a guide to show you how to unlock crafting in Beast of Reincarnation.
Unlocking Crafting in Beast of Reincarnation
The process to unlock crafting in Beast of Reincarnation isn’t too long, but it can be a bit confusing, as the game doesn’t really show you when or how it will happen.
Basically, all you need to do is progress through the main story and return to your Walker. Eventually, you’ll get the notification that you can start researching items. Once that occurs, all you need to do is interact with Koo inside your base and select the item or skill you want him to research. Keep in mind that researching takes a bit of time, and the fastest way to speed the process up is by sleeping or completing missions. The former seems to move the progress bar a bit faster, though.
Now, as for how to actually craft, you’ll need to locate Manuals first. These manuals will be marked on the map with a document icon, which will appear as soon as Koo approaches them. Once you spot one, just grab it, and the recipe will be unlocked, provided you research the item first, that is.
Once all of the above is ready, just talk to Koo to create new items for you. If some of them are Koo Items, he’ll restock the ones he crafts, and you can manually change some of them if you want to.
How To Find Crafting Manuals
As we said above, the easiest way to find crafting manuals is by exploring or completing quests. Sometimes, Koo will sense the presence of someone, and if so, follow that, as some NPCs tend to tell you the locations of crafting manuals and weapons. If you don’t have the clues to them, just explore, and Koo will mark them on your map.
The truth is that finding manuals and crafting materials isn’t too hard in Beast of Reincarnation, and most of the important manuals will show up during the story or through some side quests. Just remember to go off the beaten path once in a while.
