A group of teenagers in Washington allegedly assaulted an elderly woman with gel BB squirt guns during a fight.
The woman’s son shared details of the incident online, explaining what allegedly happened to his mother. He said that she had left their front yard and was walking along the sidewalk when the incident occurred. According to him, the teenagers were divided into two groups and began walking toward each other, with the elderly woman caught in the middle.
The son said that both groups were carrying squirt guns that fired “small, gel bb’s.” The teenagers allegedly began shooting at each other while running around the elderly woman, resulting in her being struck multiple times in the face and body at close range. According to her son, the woman was left with “visible marks and later bruising” following the incident.
The woman’s son said he yelled at both groups after witnessing what was happening. According to him, the teenagers then became aggressive and approached him. He added that one of the teenagers, whom he identified as “DJ,” allegedly advanced toward him and his mother while making threats.
The son also shared a video showing the confrontation between him and the teenager identified as DJ. In the footage, the teenager appeared to challenge the son, telling him to “do some.” He then said, “They gonna pick your [expletive] up off the floor,” while also repeatedly using the n-word.
At this point, some of DJ’s friends attempted to pull him away, but he pushed their hands aside and continued challenging the son. They eventually managed to pull him away as he continued cursing at the son and allegedly making threats. Some of the teenagers involved could also be heard apologizing to the son over what had happened. As the groups backed away, they appeared to resume shooting at each other. The video ended with the son telling the person filming to call the police.
