A woman in Florida saw the light at the end of the tunnel after her neighbors, whom she deemed to be a “nightmare,” were finally moving. However, as a cherry on top of the two-and-a-half-year conflict, a U-Haul carrying their belongings drove through her yard.
The initial clip and its follow-ups were shared online by Sydnee Serman. She is a photographer who often shares family vlogs on TikTok. The video attached above quickly became her biggest one yet, garnering 2.3 million views, 207,200 likes, and more than 1,600 comments.
The Florida woman shared footage, potentially recorded by a doorbell camera. It showed a U-Haul truck driving through her yard and driveway. Missing the mailbox to its left, the truck left visible marks on the grass. According to Sydnee, the ones responsible were her “nightmare of neighbors” who were moving out at the time of the recording.
Nightmare Neighbors
In a follow-up, Sydnee talked about her relationship with her now-former neighbors. She described them as “nasty from the get-go,” and listed a series of events that led to a broken neighbor relationship. These include, according to her, them shining flashlights at her cameras, looking over her fence, and walking on their yard with guns.
Additionally, the Florida woman also accused her former neighbors of calling the police for no reason at all, putting a hole in her roof, and even letting their dog bite her husband after it ran off their home and into her garage.
“It has been a nightmare. That doesn’t even scratch the surface,” Sydnee said.
In the end, the police were called following the U-Haul incident.
Sydnee also shared video footage of the truck back at her neighbors’ driveway. It then left leaving through the street instead of through her yard. This countered the arguments claiming that the woman’s pickup truck was blocking the U-Haul. According to her, her husband inside the pickup was trying to pull into the driveway. He was cut off by the truck, she added.
“The gift that keeps on giving!” Sydnee wrote in the first clip’s description.
Reactions
The clip sparked multiple responses from viewers who were confused and furious about the whole incident. One said, “File the claim with U-Haul, and they’ll charge them for the damages.” Another one commented, “This is insane. Definitely report this to U-Haul and the police.”
Sydnee also tagged the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on her clip. One viewer took notice and wrote, “Is this a deputy doing that?” The Florida woman answered, “Yep!“
While definitely upsetting, at least Sydnee will no longer have to deal with her nightmare neighbors moving forward.
