Two liberal New Hampshire women were mocked online after performing what was described as a “wild” dance to express their anger. The video showed the two women in an outdoor area surrounded by grass and trees while someone filmed them. One of the women had a drum in front of her, which she played to create a rhythm for the other woman. The second woman was seen wearing a dress and an eye covering.

While the woman with the drum played the instrument, the other woman began dancing wildly and flailing her arms. She continued performing the same movements and, at one point, raised her arms above her head. In addition to the performance, a sign placed in front of the drum read, “Angry Enough?”

The account that shared the video also invited others online to join the protest. “ANGRY ENOUGH??? Join us at the weekly event in Plymouth NH. Tenney Mt. SATURDAYS 12-1p. Dance. Chat. Drum. Vibe. Meet your neighbors,” they wrote in the caption. The post also included several hashtags, including one calling to “abolishICE.”

The two women’s performance reflects how some protesters use creative forms of expression, including dance and music, to communicate their political views and express anger over issues they care about. In this case, the women used drumming and dancing as part of a weekly protest. While supporters may view the performance as a peaceful and creative way to attract attention and encourage discussion, the video also faced mockery online from people who disagreed with their message or found the display unusual.

Viewers Mock New Hampshire Liberal Women

The video sparked reactions online. Many viewers mocked the two liberal women in New Hampshire over their performance, with several commenters also claiming that displays like this contributed to their decision to identify with or support Republicans. “Part of the reason I’m voting red now,” one person wrote. Another person said, “Just looks like a couple of idiots.”

More people mocked the two women over their performance, with one person writing, “And they try to tell us that we’re crazy…” Others questioned what there was to be angry about, with another person saying, “Angry about what? I’m in NH and super happy!” The account that posted the video responded, “Must be nice to live in a bubble. Some community members are not feeling safe, can’t afford food, lost their jobs, lost their homes, wild horses rounded up & slaughtered, national parks being destroyed……something new everyday.”

Ultimately, the unusual protest clearly didn’t land the same way with everyone. While the women appeared to be using the dance to express their frustration, many viewers questioned whether demonstrations like this actually get a political message across or simply become a target for ridicule.
