Lies of P Sequel, ‘Wonders of O,’ Might’ve Been Spoiled by Neowiz

Lies of P might have basically told us where its sequel is going, but publisher Neowiz might’ve spoiled even more no thanks to some legal paperwork. A recently filed European trademark for ‘Wonders of O’ has appeared under the Korean publisher’s name, suggesting the continuation of Pinocchio’s story. Considering Lies of P‘s word-plus-Of-plus-one-letter naming format and its plans to adapt another beloved fairy tale, this sounds extremely likely.

The Wonders of O trademark itself was spotted in the European Union Intellectual Property Office database, filed on September 10, 2026. It was submitted under Nice Classes 9 and 41, which cover ‘game software,’ ‘interactive multimedia,’ and ‘electronic publication of information,’ among other things. If that’s not a telltale sign for the long-awaited Lies of P sequel, then I don’t know what is.

Anyone who unlocked the post-credits scene of the Soulslike game should remember its not-so-subtle references to The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. At the end, Paracelsus is seen aboard a train discussing another mysterious target with an unseen woman. He refers to their ‘new brother’ and says he will find someone named Dorothy. It then cuts back to the rooftops of Krat, where a girl wearing red shoes walks before clicking her heels together three times.

Neowiz and developer Round8 Studio have since confirmed that, after the Overture DLC, a Lies of P sequel is in development. Although details about the project remain scarce. Still, some fan theories believe Pinocchio won’t be fully out of the picture and could even take on the role of the Tin Man after losing his heart.

For now, ‘Wonders of O’ hasn’t been officially confirmed as Lies of P‘s sequel title, so it could still refer to something else entirely. But between the naming format, the filing categories, and that post-credit scene, the pieces are lining up a little too neatly to ignore.
