In Cape Coral, Florida, a video is stirring up these issues. It shows a man at a busy intersection for hours, holding a sign and repeatedly performing a Nazi-style salute to passing traffic.
As seen in the video, the man is standing near Chiquita Boulevard and Pine Island Road, holding a sign that reads “WHITE LIVES MATTER” while performing the “Heil Hitler” gesture as vehicles drive by.
He is dressed in dark clothing with a red head covering and has visible arm tattoos, and he moves around the corner and sidewalk while continuing the salute and displaying the sign. The video is only about 11 to 12 seconds long and was captured by someone passing by. On the screen, there’s text that tells you where it happened and what the man was doing.

Interestingly, a pinned comment on the original Instagram post suggested that this man used to be a DJ named DJ SLIMEBXLL. It claims he gained popularity working with Black artists in Atlanta before vanishing, then reappearing as a controversial streamer on Kick with a new identity. However, the poster mentioned this info came through a direct message and wasn’t verified.
According to the caption on the X post, police responded to reports about the activity at the intersection but made no arrests, stating the man had not broken any laws.
Meanwhile, a bystander spoke to ABC-affiliate Gulf Coast News, saying, “I just thought, this has to be crazy or this has to be funny in some way. But then to my surprise, he turns around, and then I see what’s on the sign.” The person added, “Everyone has freedom of speech. You know, you can come out here and say blue lives matter, white lives matter, black lives matter. But it’s the symbolism, right, that gets taken out of context.”
Internet Reacts to Florida Man’s Salute Video
The clip drew sharp reactions online, with many commenters questioning the man’s motives. One wrote, “He’s simply doing it for clicks. And you just made him more famous.” Another added, “So many cool things to do in the Cape and Fort Myers and this guy does this. SMH.”
Several commenters speculated the man was staging the moment for political effect. One argued, “I think this guy is a left-wing plant. The whole point is to get footage they can use to smear everyone on the right as racist Nazis and pretend this dingleberry represents ordinary people who say White Lives Matter,” while another said, “Look at that weirdo; obviously a liberal trying to make normal people look awful.”
