As we all know, Honkai: Star Rail‘s current story arc has been full of revelations, with some Aeon-sized ones, and it seems the story is about to get even better with Version 4.6. HoYoverse has unveiled everything that is coming to this new update, including the long-awaited arrival of Pearl as a new 5-star character, but has also confirmed who the ZZZ collab characters will be; so far, all Trailblazers are excited for every new member joining the playable roster.
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6 Launches on September 28, 2026
Honkai: Star Rail Version 4.6, “Dance With the Beast Before Moonrise,” will land on September 28. Usually, we talk more about some story details, but given how high-stakes it is and how many revelations we’ve seen, we’ll leave this Version’s plot as a surprise for all Trailblazers. Yet, if you want to know what will happen, we’ve attached the trailer.
As for playable characters, Pearl will be the only new one debuting during this version. She’s a 5-star Ice character following the Path of Elation. As a teammate, she’ll be great at protecting and buffing other teammates, especially those who follow the same Path as her.
Evanescia will also get a rerun, alongside a new gorgeous outfit that you can obtain with Stellar Jade. Speaking of outfits, Hyacine will also get one, so if you have this amazing healer, you might want to get this new cosmetic. Lastly, Mortenax Blade will be available during the second half of the update.
Ellen Joe and Astra Yao Join the Astral Express
While we all knew Zenless Zone Zero and Honkai: Star Rail would have a collab event, we finally have confirmation that Ellen Joe and Astra Yao will be the two playable characters for Version 4.8. There isn’t a lot of information other than these two iconic Agents joining the Astral Express, but the good news is that since we still have a few Versions before their debut, now’s the perfect time to start saving that Stellar Jade if you want to get them for your team.
For now, all that remains is waiting for this update to hit, but there are still many things to do in Version 4.5. So, remember to complete all events and start pre-farming for Pearl if you want to add her to your team, which is an excellent idea, especially for those with a large Elation lineup.
