Right now, everyone is gearing up for the imminent release of WoW Forever, which, more than just Classic+, is a reimagining of different things that we experienced back in vanilla WoW. Even if many things remain the same, there are several new additions that really bring the adventure part back to Azeroth. One of the biggest ones that will be extremely useful as you level up is the new camping system, and here we’ll tell you how to unlock it in WoW Forever.

Regardless of your race, the process to unlock camping in WoW Forever is almost the same. You need to finish the quests in your starting zone, and you’ll get a quest leading you to meet an Adventurer. After meeting them, you should get a quest called The Great Outdoors.

This quest will take you through the basics of unlocking the camping system, which just requires you to sit near the NPC for around a minute to gain the camping buff. However, the quest chain doesn’t end there—it begins.

Depending on your professions, you’ll get follow-up quests that will teach you how to craft an item for your camp. For instance, Skinning 101 will require you to reach level 20 in Skinning and unlock the crafting recipe for a chair that gives you and other players a buff after resting at camp. Cooking 101 will teach you how to craft your own campfire, and so on.

It is important that you tackle these quests as fast as possible, as you’ll be able to set up camp anywhere you go. There are some exceptions, but almost every open area should let you set up camp.

As for what you get from each item, here’s a list of the objects you can add to a camp:

As you can see, the camping system in WoW Forever is extremely helpful, and many players will want to stop by any they see as they level up or even before entering a raid. Remember that you can always place your own campsite, but you might need other players to bring their station so you can benefit from the buffs.
