An Alabama man complained online after his female Muslim neighbor repeatedly looked through his window.

The man shared a video on TikTok, opening it by saying, “Tell me I’m not the only one who thinks this behavior is [expletive] weird.” He then showed a woman wearing Muslim attire standing outside his window and appearing to look inside. After looking around for a few seconds, the woman walked away.

After showing the footage, the man provided more context about the incident. He explained that the area shown was their driveway, describing it as “Our private driveway that leads up to our private house.” He added that his family did not know “these people” and had never spoken to them. The only thing he knew about the woman and her family was that they had moved several houses down from them about a year and a half earlier.

The man claimed that the woman had stopped in front of the house and looked through the window to see whether anyone was home. He then showed a picture taken from inside the house that appeared to show the woman standing near the window and looking toward the house.

After sharing the picture, the man claimed that the woman had repeated the behavior several times within five to 10 minutes. “The strangest and most concerning part about this whole thing is the fact that this woman felt so comfortable walking up into a stranger’s driveway, looking into a stranger’s house that she doesn’t even know,” he said.

The man then commented on the woman’s Muslim faith, saying, “If I wanted to live in the UK, I would just [expletive] move there.” His remark appeared to reference the number of immigrants in the UK. “[Expletive] your cultural sensitivity [expletive] because this [expletive] is [expletive] weird, and it is becoming alarmingly concerning,” he added at the end of the video.

After sharing the footage, the man responded to several comments questioning why he would not confront the woman. “While I agree, unfortunately due to their cultural norms, this woman will not make eye contact me me so approaching is not a great option,” he wrote. He also agreed with commenters who suggested actions that some viewers might interpret as Islamophobic, such as cooking bacon or putting up a sign stating that he had a pet pig.

Viewers Outraged Over Alabama Man’s Video

Many viewers criticized the situation after watching the Alabama man’s video. While some focused on the woman allegedly looking through the windows, many others directed their comments at her Muslim faith. “They don’t understand how America works. And they’re not even trying,” one person wrote. Another commented, “WE SHOULD ALL BE CONCERNED.”

Several other viewers left comments targeting Muslims. One person wrote, “Get you a dog and a pot bellied pig,” while another said, “I’m so tired of them.” However, some commenters focused on practical ways to address the alleged behavior rather than the woman’s religion. “Get a no trespassing sign and put it where it’s very visible. Then when it happens again file a police report with video evidence. They will tell her to stop,” one person suggested.

The video prompted discussion about how to handle neighbors who appear to invade others’ privacy. It also highlighted differing views on how to address concerning behavior without making assumptions based on someone’s religion or race.
