A family was trying to access parking while visiting the South Carolina State Fair. However, when they located a pay-to-park lot, they couldn’t find the owner. They parked and searched for him so they could pay for their spot. Little did they know, they were in for a surprise when the angry lot owner found them.
TikToker @xstupidsmartgirlx was parking her vehicle with her family at the South Carolina State Fair. Because it was full, they decided to park in a pay-to-park parking lot owned by a South Carolina homeowner. However, when they parked and went to pay, the angry landowner greeted them and told them they were breaking the rules of his lot. She immediately started recording the interaction.
This TikToker went to a paid parking lot with her family to find a spot. When they parked, the lot owner approached them, immediately started yelling, and became belligerent. The man berated them for parking before paying, even though they couldn’t locate him when they entered. He then chased one of the women, who stepped out to confront him about his behavior, until this TikToker loudly stood up for what was right.
The parking lot owner parked his pickup truck in a way that made it impossible for the family to leave his lot. They ask him if he’s trying to “hold them all there” and he states, “No.” They try to tell him they did the right thing by entering his gate and looking around for someone to collect their money. But he blurts out angrily, “And there was no one, right?! So you just park anywhere you want to.” The family argues with him, trying to explain that they did everything they were supposed to, but he just gets angrier and blocks them in.
In the end, the parking lot owner apologizes for cursing at their children during the interaction. But this mom isn’t having it. She tells him that he isn’t really sorry, because he “kept on.” She adds, “Apologies only matter with changed behavior!”
Commenters were shocked and appalled by the man’s behavior that they witnessed in the video. One commenter stated, “He was not prepared for you to use your ‘big girl voice’ on him.” Another added, “And they say men are protectors when this is what we have to deal with!”
One commenter shared their personal story about parking in the same lot when visiting the fair. They shared, “My daughters and I, along with my grandson, parked in this area, and he was extremely rude. This is the way he treats every woman that came into that parking area.” Commenters continue to share their opinions and personal stories relating to her mistreatment.
