While it may be strange to hear the term “reroll” in a Monster Hunter game, you might want to get used to it in Outlanders. Even if you can have your own adventurer with their specific weapon, the other characters, or Adventurers, are extremely important for your team and to progress through certain aspects of the game. If you want to make sure that you use your pulls correctly and get the best Adventurer from the start, here’s a quick guide on how to reroll in Monster Hunter Outlanders.

For those who might be new to the whole gacha aspect of gaming, reroll means restarting your account to try to get the premium characters or the best in the launch banner, which applies to Monster Hunter Outlanders.

Now, as for how to reroll in the game, there are two ways, depending on your region.

  • If applicable, just start the game with a guest account and only register the account once you have the characters you want.
  • If you can’t enter as a guest account, you’ll need to have different emails to create the account and reroll.

While we normally don’t recommend rerolling, as more powerful characters come later in the next banners, here is the pull priority:

  1. Midori
  2. Keres
  3. Pepper
  4. Arkaya
  5. Pyro

These are the best five characters you can get at launch, so if you really want to go for that “meta” type of playstyle, aim for them.

How Long Does it Take to Reroll?

In terms of rerolling, it is actually a fast process, at least compared to other similar games. For Monster Hunter Outlanders, you’ll be able to reroll every 20 to 30 minutes, as that’s how long it takes to unlock the banners and claim your launch freebies.

Yet, you have to be prepared, as it can be quite a tedious process, and as we said before, better characters will likely arrive in the future. We still don’t know if Monster Hunter Outlanders will suffer from power creep, but since that is something that usually affects titles with gacha mechanics, our recommendation is to save your pulls for the Adventurer or Buddy you want.

In any case, rerolling isn’t that challenging, and it is faster than other games. So, if you want to get the best squad as soon as the game launches, just get those emails ready because you’ll need a lot of them.
