A black California mother is accusing Dell’Osso Family Farms of racism after she was asked to leave following a dispute with a white woman over a table. She says she had waited 40 minutes for food, paid for her meal, and sat down with her child when the confrontation began.

The video was shared on TikTok by @pennace2society. In the clip, the mother says the other woman approached her and spoke to her child. She also asks the woman to keep her hands away from her bag and move her phone away from her face.

The mother later explained that another man had been sitting at the table after she had already taken her seat. She said he was not part of the other woman’s family and left because he did not want to be recorded. She questioned why the woman had not asked him to move if the table was supposedly reserved.

“I just waited in this line for 40 fucking minutes. [expletive], you think you’re going to tell me that I can’t sit down and eat my food? I pay my money just like everybody else,” she said.

The dispute eventually involved staff and a police officer, who told her that management wanted her and her family to leave because the property was private. When she asked for a reason, she was told the other woman had accused her of raising her hand and threatening her.

The mother denied making any threat and said she had recorded the interaction. She also alleged that the woman slammed her hand on the table, called her a “mean mother,” and pointed a finger at her child. She questioned why she was being removed after buying food and asked to speak with a manager.

The officer explained that the business could refuse service. The mother continued to deny the accusation and said she wanted to file a false police report. She later claimed the other woman had treated the table as reserved while her family was still waiting in line for food.

The woman ultimately said she and her family were kicked out of the farm because she was black.

The video drew criticism from commenters who questioned how staff and the officer handled the dispute. One commenter claiming to be an attorney wrote, “Hey Boo. Attorney here » This SCREAMS discrimination lawsuit. You can sue the White Lady, the police officer, the police department and the fair!” Another was furious that the mother wasn’t heard out: “THEY SIDED WITH HER WITHOUT [expletive] TALKING TO YOU!!!”

Someone else pointed out, “Notice how the police didn’t even attempt to get your side of anything lol sad.” The officer’s behavior also drew criticism. “The way that officer kept taunting you is pissing me off,” one person wrote.

Another commenter said, “This is horrible, he immediately threatened jail before even speaking to you.” Others focused on the table dispute. “you dont reserve tables its first come first served,” one person wrote.

Another questioned the response, saying, “They didn’t even try to descalate or even try to ask u what happened.”
