A woman in Washington has gone on a rant about Indian-owned gas stations, saying they are overcharging customers and that it is hard to find any white-owned gas stations.
In a video filled with complaints about prices, store conditions, and immigrant business owners, she repeatedly questions why so many gas stations in her area are owned by Indians.
The video was shared on TikTok by @vacaetion and reshared on X by @ImMeme0.
The woman begins by saying she has visited four gas stations while looking for a drink, only to find that each one was Indian-owned. She lists several major gas station brands, including BP and Exxon, and complains that the stores also sell pizza, cheesy bread, vapes, and T-shirts.
Her frustration turns into a racial rant when she asks, “Where are the white people?” She claims she used to visit white-owned gas stations but now sees Indian owners everywhere. She also alleges that the owners are related and coordinate with one another to charge her more for products.
One of her main complaints concerns the price of a drink. She claims she was charged $3.85 when she expected to pay $2.69, and argues that convenience stores change prices depending on how much money a customer appears to have.
She also accuses the businesses of being dirty, poorly maintained, and selling overpriced products. At one point, she distinguishes the gas station owners from Indian liquor store owners, questioning why they do not operate in the same way.
The rant then shifts toward immigration and politics. She calls on Donald Trump to end what she describes as tax exemptions for immigrants and makes claims about immigrants receiving Social Security numbers and large bank loans. She also questions how Indian business owners have been able to purchase multiple gas stations. However, it’s worth noting that immigrants are not automatically exempt from paying taxes, and Social Security numbers are generally only available to noncitizens authorized to work in the United States.
She eventually says she will stop buying gas and drinks from the businesses, accusing their owners of taking advantage of customers.
Internet Reacts to Washington Woman’s Rant About Indian-Owned Gas Stations
The video drew a mix of criticism, agreement with some of her complaints, and comments questioning her broader argument.
One commenter claimed, “They received forgivable small business loans in the hundreds of thousands.” Another pointed out the irony of her asking for more white-owned businesses, writing, “You know it’s getting bad when the black folk are out saying ‘i wanna see more white people’.”
Someone else jumped in to claim, “Wait until she finds out her taxes actually paid for their gas stations.”
Another commenter raised concerns about convenience store pricing and regulation: “There are no prices posted for the food in convenient stores. Most of the time the food is out of date. No one notifies local authorities nor attend town meetings to create and enforce an ordinance.”
One final comment took a swipe at her dependence on other business owners, writing, “‘Where are the white people?’ So *expletive* retarded to rely on someone else to look after you. What happened to black people building themselves and owning stuff?”
Despite her repeated accusations, the video does not include receipts or other evidence showing that the gas stations coordinated prices or charged her differently based on her appearance.
