An Oregon woman was left terrified after a man tried to forcibly kiss her foot while she was in public.
The woman, identified as Annalisa, shared a video describing the incident, revealing that she was still “shaking” from the experience. Before explaining what had happened, she addressed people who often say, “it’s not all men.” She then questioned the statement, asking, “But why is it always a man?”
Annalisa explained that she was on her way to work at around seven in the morning. While sitting on a bench at the bus station and waiting for her train, she noticed a man walking nearby. At first, he appeared completely normal, but he soon approached her with a smile.
She tried to ignore him by looking straight ahead, but he continued getting closer before saying, “excuse me, miss.” Annalisa responded, assuming he needed help with directions. However, instead of asking for assistance, the man asked her, “May I kiss your feet?”
Annalisa was shocked by the unusual request, but the man moved even closer while continuing to smile. “Can I kiss your feet?” he asked again. She immediately refused and told him to leave her alone.
Annalisa got up and walked away, but the man continued following her. The situation then took a frightening turn when he threw himself to the ground and grabbed her ankle in an attempt to kiss her feet.
She explained that she was neither small nor particularly thin, yet the man still physically targeted her. Annalisa had to kick him in the head in an attempt to make him release her. “He wouldn’t stop,” she said. She then began screaming at him “to get the [expletive]” off her.
What made the incident even more disturbing was that two other men were at the train station at the time. However, neither intervened as the confrontation unfolded, with them seemingly looking at their phones. “I have to physically kick this man in the head to get him off of me,” Annalisa said.
Annalisa eventually managed to run away, but the man continued following her. She screamed at him, warning that if he came any closer, she would “[expletive] him up.” She made the threat despite being “shaking” and “[expletive] scared.”
Annalisa became emotional as she described how she had to stand up for herself and protect herself during the frightening encounter. “It’s always a man doing it or letting it happen,” she said at the end of the video, addressing those who argue that “it’s not all men.”
What Happened Next
In addition to sharing the video, Annalisa revealed in a comment that she had reported the incident as an assault. She later provided an update in another video, explaining that she had called the police and that they had retrieved the train station’s security footage.
Annalisa said the officers watched the footage showing the man trying to assault her. They even applauded her for kicking him during the encounter. However, they told her they could not arrest the man because neither she nor the police knew his name. For now, they said they would simply look for him. Annalisa ended the video by sarcastically saying, “Awesome.”
Viewers Shocked Over Creepy Oregon Man’s Behavior
Many viewers online were shocked to learn what the Oregon man had done to Annalisa. They were also disturbed that no one had stepped in to help her during the encounter. “NO ONE HELPED YOU???? That’s insane,” one woman wrote. Another questioned the bystanders’ inaction, saying, “Why do men watch other men do bad things & not do anything? If I saw this happen, I wld try to help you!”
Other viewers continued expressing their anger over the bystanders’ failure to intervene. “The men looking the other way are the problem!! If men held each other accountable, this [expletive] would stop. I’m so sorry you encountered a predator, and were forced to defend yourself. I’m horrified,” one woman wrote. Another TikTok user expressed sympathy for Annalisa, saying, “girl you are so brave & so strong but I’m sorry that you even HAD to be. When will our nervous systems catch a break.”
The incident highlighted the dangers women can face in public spaces and the importance of bystanders stepping in when someone is in danger. Rather than simply watching, people who witness such situations should make an effort to help those in need.
