Worlds collide in the new Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse Trailer! Spider-Man fans were treated with a brand new trailer for the upcoming animated film, giving us a deeper look at the world and characters. The trailer can be seen below.

SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE - Official Trailer #2 (HD)

In the trailer, we are introduced to three new versions of Spider-Man that will appear in Into the Spider-Verse. Spider-Man Noir (Nicholas Cage), Peni Parker (Kimiko Glenn) and lastly Spider-Ham (John Mulaney) were all revealed in this trailer. This is in addition to Miles Morales (Shameik Moore) Peter Parker (Jack Johnson) and Gwen Stacy (Hailee Steinfeld) being revealed in the last trailer. This brings the grand total of spider-people in Into the Spider-Verse up to six!

A few key villains are shown throughout the trailer, but they show up so quickly that it may be difficult for some to pick up on who they are. Green Goblin, Kingpin, and Scorpion all made brief appearances in the trailer. It seems that Kingpin will be the main focus as he seems to be the one meddling with the other universes.

The trailer once again showed off a distinct art style that fits the overall tone of the film. It’s a very flashy and ambitious move by Marvel and Sony to go with something so unique, but it seems to be paying off with fans and media alike. Reactions for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse have been overwhelmingly positive thus far.

Additionally, a fair amount of humor is peppered in throughout the trailer. It’s very reminiscent of the Lego Batman Movie which makes sense as they share the same producer and writer, Phil Lord. It seems like we will be getting a very similar tone in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.

Spider-Man fans have been absolutely rolling in fantastic content the last year with plenty to look forward to. With Homecoming, Infinity War and Marvel’s Spider-Man in the rearview mirror and Venom, Far From Home, and Into The Spider-Verse on the horizon, there is plenty to get your Spidey senses tingling.
