See how Optimus Prime came to be in the animated film Transformers One. Directed by Josh Cooley (Toy Story 4), the film acts as an origin story for both Optimus Prime and Megatron, the leaders of the Autobots and Decepticons in the Transformers franchise. It features the voice talents of Chris Hemsworth (Thor), Brian Tyree Henry (Atlanta), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), and Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele). As it is a film in a long-running franchise, you might be wondering if there’s anything after the credits that teases a sequel. So, let’s see if Transformers One has a post-credits scene.

Is There a Post-Credits Scene in Transformers One?

If you want to see everything you can you will want to wait with anticipation in your seats, because Transformers One has not one, but two post-credits scenes. The first scene is a comedic stinger and it occurs right after the first set of credits. If you want to see the post-credits scene that sets up a sequel to Transformers One, you’ll need to wait until the very end of the credits. There are no other scenes during or after the credits, so maybe just watch the names of the hardworking people who were responsible for the film while you wait for the last scene.

The first post-credits scene isn’t too impactful, but if you want to get an idea of what Transformers Two might look like, you’ll want to stick around for that final scene. It’s nothing that Transformers fans shouldn’t be able to guess, but either way, if you want to see everything in the movie, wait until the very end of the credits. Producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura did mention to Screen Rant that a sequel would be in the works if it did well at the box office, so there seems to be a solid direction in which the story could go.

If you do stay until the very end, you’ll also see that the film is dedicated to Brian Goldner, the former CEO of Hasbro, who died in 2021. The dedication reads, “Dedicated to Brian Goldner, we are forever grateful.” He was one of the producers of Michael Bay’s Transformers as well as G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra and most of the other movies in the Transformers franchise.

You can see Transformers One in theaters now.
