The dev team has been diligently working on addressing the feedback players have shared for a while now. In addition, they are still working on developing future updates, new areas, and characters. With the upcoming arrival of the latest version of Fontaine, Genshin Impact 4.8 leaks show that it could be like Secret Summer Paradise from 3.8. Also, it functions as a connecting bridge between Fontaine and Natlan’s new content. So, HoYoverse may have a significant event planned for this summer that could involve another Hexenzirkel witch.

Prepare for a summer event shrouded in mystery as Version 4.8 introduces a new area to the Fontaine map. This area has its own dock at the edge of the region, so it borders the nation’s waterfalls and could be close to Snezhnaya. It is also the main stage for the update event, which has a fairytale-like theme. This could be the summer event with the annual appearance of Klee as the main character, as was the case with the Golden Apple Archipelago. So far, Genshin Impact 4.8 leaks mention that colorful miniature houses and stars hanging from the ceiling will decorate the area.

Another change this next version will bring is that players can finally turn off the text interface when talking to other characters. Another QoL change that Genshin Impact copies from its brother game, Honkai Star Rail, which already had this option long ago. So if you’re in the middle of a cinematic and want to take a picture, but the text is in the way, you’ll now be able to close the text box. Fortunately, HoYoverse listens more to its community and provides these details that make life easier for its users. So, we look forward to seeing more changes like these in future updates and, above all, more Primogems.
