After the cause of Carter’s death was revealed, Kelly K Public Relations and Holly Davidson of ICT PR said that closing this case would give them the power to honor him. Kelly and Davidson shared that they were happy that the case had eventually closed.
According to what the pair told E! News, Carter’s team tried to implement a plan to send him for rehabilitation toward recovery. However, some external influences and circumstances made this impossible.
Reports made by the coroner showed that the 34-year-old died from drowning as a result of drugs in his system. A source told the publication that the Candy singer was found unconscious that morning in his Southern California Residence.
The LA Sheriff’s Department stated in a press release that they got a call from one of the house sitters who said that she found someone lying unconscious in the bathtub of the house. The 9-1-1 representative advised her to commence CPR for resuscitation before their arrival. Unfortunately, when they arrived at the scene, he was confirmed dead.
