We are already a week away from the release date of the latest HoYoverse gacha game, and the surprises continue. A new character demo of Zenless Zone Zero has arrived, and this time to introduce Soldier 11. This character is surrounded by a lot of mystery, mainly because she resembles Anby considerably. Also, Soldier 11 is a member of the OBOLS Squad, but we don’t know anything more about this faction. Although this trailer shows more information than you think, you just need to be very observant to notice it.
Among the many fans waiting for the arrival of ZZZ, there are already many theories. One of these theories is based on the remarkable resemblance between Soldier 11 and Anby because both girls have the same white hair, and their clothes and equipment are very similar. They master long swords and have a unique backpack that imbues their swords with elemental energy. In Anby’s case, it is electric energy, and Soldier 11 engulfs her sword with fire. A curious detail is that Soldier 11 does not know or never talks about her past. This makes many think both belonged to the same group where they received training or were created as warriors, like Firefly from Honkai Star Rail.
Another point that stands out is that in this Zenless Zone Zero character demo, there is a part in which the text “Obsidian on Soldier 11” appears. This could refer to the sword this character carries with her, which could be made of this mineral. Obsidian is a particularly sharp material and better for cuts in organic matter; besides coming from volcanic material, it could better resist the heat of her blaze. This could be a weapon specially made to counter the Hollow. We hope we can uncover some of these mysteries as soon as ZZZ arrives on July 4th.
