Adele and her fiancé, Rich Paul, are ready to take another bigger leap in their relationship. After months of speculation, the British singer and the sports agent are finally engaged. While walking down the aisle is the next step, something else is of higher priority for the lovebirds, especially Adele.
Weeks after the Hello singer officially confirmed her engagement to Rich, sources revealed the couple’s plans for starting a family. The insider explained that Adele’s busy schedule made her pause plans to get married and welcome a baby. “She had way too much going on with her residency in Las Vegas and then her big summer concert series in Munich,” the source said. However, with her commitments slowing down as August ends, the Tottenham native is ready to kickstart them.
“She’s planning for a huge, long break after her shows wrap up so she can go full-on into wedding mode. Another big priority is her and Rich welcoming a baby.”
The informant noted that Adele will make having a second child “her big focus” for the rest of 2024. As for how she intends to go about it, the source believes it “most likely will involve a surrogate.” However, the award-winning singer will be private about it. “Everyone in her life knows that’s what she and Rich want, and it’s very much a keep your fingers crossed type situation,” the insider added.
It comes as no surprise that Adele and Rich want to welcome a child soon. In May, the 36-year-old revealed she was “desperate for a girl” while helping a couple with their gender reveal during her residency show. She added:
“Once I’m done with all of my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby. And I want to have a girl because I’ve already got a boy.”
Adele & Rich Paul’s Wedding Plans Revealed
While babymaking is big on Adele’s mind, she is still focused on having the wedding of her dreams. Recall that the 16-time Grammy winner confirmed her engagement during a sweet fan interaction in Munich. Reading the fan’s sign, she said, “Will you marry me?’ I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married.” A source told Life & Style Mag that she is “relieved” to have it out in the open and can now focus on planning her nuptials.
The lovers, who began dating in 2021, reportedly plan to have a double celebration—one in America and the other in the United Kingdom. The ceremonies will be a “decent-sized affair,” the insider claimed. Adele’s 11-year-old son, Angelo, whom she shares with her ex Simon Konecki, will also have a role in the wedding.
