Let’s see how to heal units in Age of Wonders 4, a complicated game with lots of things to keep in mind. Triumph Studios’ sixth game in the entire series is set in a high fantasy universe with different categories of units. As an integral part of the strategy game, units are extremely important for the players. It is always tricky to heal your units and make winning moves with these turn-based strategy games. However, we come up with a guide on how to heal units in the game.

In Age of Wonders 4, units can heal at a faster rate when inside your cities and at a slower rate when outside of a city but still within your territory. It’s important to note that units must be within your territory to heal, regardless of location. Specifically, units can recover 25 HP per turn inside a city and 5 HP per turn inside your territory but not within a city. Although these methods are the most dependable ways to heal your units, various spells, perks, or abilities can also help restore their HP. Let’s see how you can heal units in Age of Wonders 4.

  • Natural Recovery perk – This is found in the Nature Affinity perk tree. The perk will boost the healing rate of your units by +15 in a single turn inside your territory.
  • Wand of Healing – Your units heal others after equipping this item.
  • Army Heal – A special spell from Tome of Faith which can heal all the ally units on the map.
  • Support Units – Certain units have the ability to heal other units temporarily, but the hitpoints you get from healing are lost after battles.
  • Hero abilities and equipment –As your heroes gain levels in Age of Wonders 4, they can acquire diverse skills that can aid in adding HP to your units.

That covers everything you need to know about healing units in the game.

Age of Wonders 4 is available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
