You would think that when three people go against one person, they would be the ones to come out as winners. After all, they are the majority. Well, this wasn’t the case with three North Dakota cops who embarrassingly got punched by a lone man. Why didn’t they manage to get him to the ground is something I will wonder about for a long time. In a video filmed by one of the residents, you can see the three cops surrounding the man. He started punching them so that he can get away.
The North Dakota resident has some good punches because he managed to punch the three officers. He punched two male officers and then a female officer (not cool), and then he punched one of the officers again because he was still holding his hand. This boxing match ended with the suspect running away. He even had time to pull up his pants. The officers, however, stood there probably trying to recover and also call for backup since three weren’t enough.
After the suspect ran away, the police managed to finally arrest him. The guy, named Joseph Manitowabi, is facing several charges. According to KVRR, he is facing charges of “Preventing Arrest, Possession of Methamphetamine, three counts of Assault on a Police Officer, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.” The publication also reported that the officers were treated for minor injuries. Well, they probably weren’t minor since they couldn’t even run after him.
People Reacting to the North Dakota Resident’s Attack
Since the fight was quite embarrassing for the North Dakota officers, people started to mock them. One person wrote, “Loser cops losing to a single loser.” Someone else said in wonder, “All 3 completely incapacitated from a single punch.. wild.” Another believed that the suspect should have gotten away since he managed to beat all three. “If those punches stopped those cops, he deserves to get away. Smh,” they said. One Redditor even said, “I’m sorry, but that was pathetic…”
Some also believed that the three cops would be ruthlessly mocked. “Those cops are going to get so much shit in the locker room the next few days… lol,” they wrote. There was even one person who related the embarrassing brawl to GTA. “Ooooh man, he’s gotta be up to 5 stars by now. GTA: Midwest,” was the comment. Another also shared a GTA comment that said, “How do I switch from Trevor to this character?” Honestly, if I was one of the three officers, I wouldn’t show my face at work for a while.
