All Lunch Box Locations in Alan Wake 2

Throughout different areas like Cauldron Lake and Watery, you’ll find different lunchboxes that are themed to novelist Alan Wake’s titular character, Alex Casey. The lunchboxes house Manuscript Fragments that can be used to upgrade the different weapons that Saga can find, including the sawed-off shotgun and the crossbow. Finding them is only a matter of knowing where they are, so we outlined exactly where all the Alex Casey lunch box locations in Alan Wake 2 are below.

There are a total of three locations where you can find these lunch boxes:

• Cauldron Lake
• Watery
• Bright Falls

Within these three areas, there are other areas that are unlocked as the game progresses and as you find new ways to get to previously unlocked areas. You’ll know that you’re close to one because you’ll start to see small, decorated Easter eggs and colorful fabric decorations that will sort of lead you closer. It’s important to note that many of these lunchboxes cannot be acquired the first time you reach these places.

You’ll be going back and forth between areas often, so be sure to check each of the areas in our maps below whenever you unlock a new area. There might be a lunch box there waiting for you in the dark.

Cauldron Lake Lunch Boxes

Cauldron Lake has a total of eight lunch boxes that you can find. Their exact locations are as follows, going from left to right:

1. On your second visit to the lake, head over to the east area of the Watchfinder Station.
2. During your first visit, you’ll be able to find this box on a campground, next to a tent.
3. This lunch box is also located near a campground on the south end of the map.
4. You’ll need to walk through the lake toward the bottom of a waterfall that is blocked off.
5. This lunch box is located near the waterfall vista towards the north end of the map.
6. This lunch box is near the landslide located west of the Rental Cabins when you first arrive.
7. This box is located by the FBC monitoring station.
8. You’ll need to enter the Rental Cabins to find this one.

Bright Falls Lunch Boxes

There are technically three areas where you will need to search in Bright Falls: The Valhalla Nursing Home, Bright Falls property, and the area around the nursing home. Starting with the Valhalla Nursing Home, all of the exact locations of the lunch boxes are as follows going from left to right on the Bright Falls map above:

1. On the first floor Office of the Valhalla Nursing Home.
2. Head all the way to the west end and fight some Taken before taking this lunch box home.
3. Southeast of the Wellness Center, just off the main path and north of the Ranger Station.
4. Just northeast of the one above on the very same path.
5. Southeast of the east entrance to the Valhalla Nursing Home.
6. Southeast of Billie’s Boat Yard.
7. Behind some trees in the park east of Biltmore Avenue.

Watery Lunch Boxes

In Watery, there are six Alex Casey lunchboxes you’ll need to track down. Their exact locations are listed below, starting from the top to the bottom:

1. Next to the radio station tower north of Watery.
2. While heading to Coffee World for the first time, you can find this lunch box just off the path.
3. Behind the Kalevala Knights Workshop.
4. In the Coffee World parking lot.
5. Just north of the Watery Lighthouse.
6. By some trees in the Watery Lighthouse Trailer Park.
