All New Destiny 2: Renegades Exotic Weapons and Armor and How to Get Them

That sweet golden glow

Let’s face it: the first thing we all want as soon as Destiny 2: Renegades is to start working for the new Exotics. While the many new and returning weapons of this expansion look great, the truth is that some of these coveted golden items are looking much better than anything we’ve seen in previous expansions, especially that Praxic Blade we can’t wait to try. But since there are many more Exotics to collect, we’ve made a list of every single one you can get in the Lawless Frontier.

Exotic Weapons

So far, there are three exotic weapons in Destiny 2: Renegades, all of which you might have already seen, and yes, that includes the long-awaited Praxic Blade. In any case, these are the weapons along with their unique perks:

  • Praxic Blade (Sword)
    • Ranged Weapon – Throw your Praxic Blade, which will seek out multiple targets. Attacking recalls the Blade. Hold to perform a more powerful throw, sending the Blade on a straight path in the direction of your aim.
    • Cormorant Reversal – While guarding, this Sword converts incoming projectiles into bolts that reflect to where you’re aiming.
  • Service of Luzaku (Strand Machine Gun)
    • Dichotomous Thinking – Hitting targets with this weapon builds a restorative charge. Hip firing at allies while this weapon is charged heals them, does not expend ammo, and fills this weapon’s magazine from reserves. Rapid healing increases weapon damage and spawns Threadlings from your allies.
    • Meaning-Making – Final blows with this weapon create a Threadling nest that periodically spawns Threadlings. Final blows with this weapon near an existing Threadling nest create a Threadling instead.
  • Heirloom (Solar Combat Bow)
    • Bolt Thrower – This weapon fires high-powered explosive bolts. Strong against Unstoppable Champions.
    • Big Game Hunter – Aim down sights for a period of time to overcharge the next bolt fired. Increases damage and area of effect for each charge level.

Exotic Armor

Beyond the weapons, however, we also have some exotic armor pieces in Destiny 2: Renegades, which you should watch out for depending on your subclass.

  • Praxic Vestment (Titan)
    • Activate your jetpack while airborne with a forceful blast of exhausting Arc energy, then fly forward based on the amount charged. Collide with a combatant to unleash a blinding blast of energy and gain a temporary bonus to your melee stat.
  • Fortune’s Favor (Hunter)
    • When you have any overshield, your weapons gain increased accuracy, stability, handling, and damage against combatants, and final blows will grant a short period of increased mobility once the overshield is depleted.
  • Deimosuffusion (Warlock)
    • While a Strand Super is equipped, casting Rift will suspend nearby combatants. Suspend deals damage over time, healing you in the process. Combatants who break free from suspension suffer additional damage. Defeating suspended targets heals you a moderate amount.

If you’re aiming for the above armor pieces, you should start tailoring your build toward them, such as Arc for Titans and Strand for Warlock. Like with every expansion, these Exotics will greatly change how your Guardian plays, so it might be worth seeking them out as soon as the expansion goes live, provided they are easy to get, of course.
