Before you can dress up your Poogie in MHW Iceborne, you need to raise their affection and unlock its costumes first. Increasing affection is all about giving your Poogie lots of pets and pressing the appropriate button when the huge “!” appears. Once your Poogie loves you enough, indicated by a big heart when he follows you around, you can start unlocking its outfits.
Some of them can be acquired by completing quests or participating in Festivals. On the other hand, there are hidden ones that can only be found when your Poogie digs around Astera or Seliana. Pick Poogie up and carry them around the hubs, and wait to feel your controller vibrate when you’re near a dig spot. If your Poogie sleeps or doesn’t do anything when dropped, try completing 1-2 quests and/or going to and quitting an Expedition.

Boa Bell Coat Poogie Costume in MHW
Enter the Astera Gathering Hub during the Winter Star Festival event. The location can be accessed by using the lift to the top floor or selecting Gathering Hub when clicking Astera on the world map.
Buzzy Bee
Enter the Astera Gathering Hub during the Spring Blossom Festival event to unlock the Poogie MHW costume.
Pumpkin’s Revenge Poogie Costume in MHW
Enter the Astera Gathering Hub during the Autumn Harvest Festival event.
Seaside Sausage
Enter the Astera Gathering Hub during the Summer Twilight Festival event to unlock the Poogie MHW costume.
Sparkling Party
Enter the Astera Gathering Hub during the Appreciation Festival event. The New Year celebration runs together with the Grand Appreciation Festival.
White Jammies
Pick up your pet pig from the Astera entrance gate and take a left to the Smart Biologist NPC. Put the Poogie in front of the fossil collection just behind his desk and it should dig the MHW costume.
Apprentice Fiver
Carry and drop the Poogie beside the Huntsman in front of the white flag. He can be found sitting cross-armed near the Commander and the planning table.
Hog in a Frog Poogie Costume in MHW
Carry the pig to the Ancient Tree, the place with the Laid-Back Botanist NPC. Drop the Poogie near the light in front of the small pond for the MHW costume.
Emperor’s New Duds
Complete the main story and head to the gazebo on the topmost level of Astera. The area can be accessed through the stairs inside the Smithy. You don’t have to carry your Poogie from the bottom floor to the gazebo since the Poogie will still follow you. Although its running speed is pretty slow.
Bacon Behemoth Poogie Costume in MHW
Defeat the Behemoth from the FFXIV crossover questline, “โ 9 He Taketh It With His Eyes” for the Poogie MHW costume. The questline starts with “โ 6 A Visitor From Another World” followed by “โ 9 A Legendary Beast.” Check your Low/High Rank Special Assignment after finishing the main story for the quest.
Poogie MHW: Iceborne Costumes
Dod-ham-a
Defeat Banbaro in the “Mโ 1 Banbaro Blockade” quest in Master Rank. The Poogie MHW costume is found in a random location in Astera.
Wall of Warmth
Defeat Fulgur Anjanath in the “Mโ 4 The Thunderous Troublemaker!” quest in Master Rank. The Poogie costume will be automatically unlocked in MHW and the pig will finally appear in Seliana.
Pretty in Pink
Complete the “Mโ 4 The Thunderous Troublemaker!” quest and go behind the Seliana Sailor NPC. There are a bunch of crates and stockpiles, put the Poogie there. You can also get the Poogie Doll (Memorial Stripes) home decoration here.
Fuzzy Fairy
Complete the “Mโ 4 The Thunderous Troublemaker!” quest and carry your pig to the Provisions Stockpile vendor in Seliana. He’s located just across the Seliana entrance gate towards the Canteen. This Poogie MHW Iceborne costume location might also contain the Poogie Doll (Emperor’s New Duds) home decoration.
Cosmic Wisepig Poogie Costume in MHW
Enter the Seliana Gathering Hub during the Grand Appreciation Festival event. The New Year celebration runs together with the Appreciation Festival. Access the place by heading to the huge door behind the Steamworks or selecting Gathering Hub when clicking Seliana on the world map.
Dim Sumptuous Red
Enter the Seliana Gathering Hub during the Holiday Joy Festival event for the Poogie MHW costume. The Chinese New Year celebration runs together with the Winter Star Festival.
Eggsotic
Enter the Seliana Gathering Hub during the Sizzling Spice Festival event. The Summer celebration runs together with the Summer Twilight Festival.
Passion Pig
Enter the Seliana Gathering Hub during the Full Bloom Festival event for the Poogie MHW costume. The Valentine’s celebration runs together with the Spring Blossom Festival.
Spectral Swine Poogie Costume in MHW
Enter the Seliana Gathering Hub during the Fun Fright Festival event. The Halloween celebration runs together with the Autumn Harvest Festival.
