There are seven different elements in Honkai Star Rail, each with a unique roster of characters that can help benefit your teams in many ways. One of the coolest elements is the Quantum element, a class that harnesses quantum energy to entangle enemies. As of this writing, there are seven Quantum characters in the game, each with a unique playstyle. Here are all of the Quantum characters ranked in Honkai Star Rail.
Quantum Characters in Honkai Star Rail Ranked
The seven Quantum characters in Honkai Star Rail all belong to different classes with different playstyles available to them. Some of these characters may deal explosive damage, while others simply exist to heal. Regardless, these characters all have a unique position in the meta. Here are all of the Quantum characters in Honkai Star Rail ranked.
7: Xueyi
Xueyi is a Quantum Destruction character who has a unique Break Effect playstyle. However, she underperforms somewhat if you do not have her Eidolons. She does get incrementally stronger as you obtain more copies of Xueyi, especially if you’re able to get her sixth Eidolon. Nevertheless, Break Effect teams are currently somewhat niche, although Xueyi is certainly powerful enough to clear most endgame content in the game.
Xueyi is a very strong main DPS character and is stronger than many other DPS characters in the game. However, Quantum is so far a powerful element with strong characters, so Xueyi just ranks at the bottom of this list by default. Xueyi is also a good DPS to invest in, as Break Effect DPS comps are set to get some strong support characters.
6: Lynx
Lynx is an Abundance character and is a capable healer, able to sustain your team through some tough damage. Lynx is able to teamwide heal and dispel with her Ultimate, and she has a unique mechanic where she can increase aggro on Destruction and Preservation units. While you likely won’t be using two sustain characters together (unless you are clearing Swarm Disaster), Lynx has a niche as a support for characters like Blade or Clara who deal damage as enemies attack them.
With Eidolons, Lynx can also prevent debuffs before they happen, and also increase the Attack stat of allies who receive her healing. Aside from this, Lynx does not have much more utility outside of her healing. As a 4-star sustain unit, you might also find it somewhat difficult to keep allies healthy compared to her 5-star counterparts. Still, Lynx is a capable healer for your team and worth investing in if you lack alternatives.
5: Qingque
Qingque is an Erudition DPS carry, and is most commonly played as a hypercarry. Qingque has gained a reputation as one of the strongest 4-star DPS characters in the game. This is mostly true if you were able to invest in her Eidolons, but Qingque has some issues preventing her from competing with 5-stars. A big portion of her damage relies on her follow-up attacks, which are RNG, and her single-hit damage leaves her prone to whiffing critical hits.
Additionally, Qingque has a skill-point hungry mechanic that also relies on RNG. Qingque’s ceiling as a DPS character is high, but her performance is inconsistent, rendering her as an unwieldy yet powerful DPS character. We recommend pairing Qingque with other Quantum units, as they can all work together to mitigate her weaknesses.
4: Silver Wolf
Silver Wolf is a Nihilty character and is still the premier single-target debuffer. However, some aspects of her kit are losing its power. Her ability to implant weaknesses is strong, but other characters are receiving this ability, reducing Silver Wolf’s necessity. Additionally, other characters can break Toughness Gauge without even damaging an enemy’s weakness.
Silver Wolf is still very strong, with a huge variety of debuffs that pair together well with characters like Dr. Ratio. Still, she is losing a bit of her luster, as her single-target debuffs and weakness implant might not have the same importance as it did during her release.
3: Seele
Despite her status as the game’s first limited unit, Seele remains one of the top DPS hypercarries in the game. Her single-target damage is ridiculous, and her skill-point hungry playstyle is made more manageable as more supports are added to the game. Despite her Hunt class, Seele can spread AoE damage with her passive that gives her extra actions after she kills enemies.
Seele does lose a bit of her power when going against enemies that don’t let her utilize her passive. However, Seele’s damage is ridiculous to the point where this doesn’t really matter. We highly recommend picking up Seele if you’re in need of a Quantum DPS character.
2: Fu Xuan
Fu Xuan is a unique Preservation character who protects the team in a different way. Instead of giving shields like other Preservation units, Fu Xuan redirects damage taken by allies to herself. Fu Xuan has self-sustain, with the ability to heal herself when she reaches low HP. Additionally, with her Ultimate, Fu Xuan can provide some low but consequential healing for the team. As an added bonus, Fu Xuan can even provide a decent Crit Rate buff for your team.
Her damage redirection is no joke, and some teams feel invincible when Fu Xuan is out there protecting your team. There is a point where your allies will eventually be whittled down, but Fu Xuan’s tankiness makes this take some time. Fu Xuan is one of the best sustain units in the game and is worth every Stellar Jade you can spend on her.
1: Sparkle
Sparkle is a Harmony character and is one of the best support units in the game. She has a quick charging Ultimate that boosts your team’s Crit DMG and provides three extra skill points, enabling your team to use their Skills more often. Sparkle also Action Advances like Bronya. While Sparkle’s is not as strong, it’s still effective in giving your allies more actions.
Sparkle is one of the best support characters and has warped the meta, allowing for characters like Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, Qingque, and even Blade and Bronya to adopt new strategies and deal even more damage. We highly recommend picking up Sparkle next time she’s available.
