Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is the next-generation mobile gaming content we’ve been waiting for for two years, and well, it’s not doing so well on Android. The game has been downloaded more than 10 million times on Google Play Store, and the user review box is not showing any good signs of success for Warzone Mobile.
Upon release, many users had said that Warzone Mobile runs pretty well on iOS devices. Players who own an iPad or a recent iPhone would enjoy the smooth Warzone experience without a problem. However, the majority of the mobile gaming community doesn’t own an iPhone device.
This is why we get to see the review score of 4.4/5 in the Apple Store and 2.9/5 in Google Play Store. Some users have taken this into Reddit and call it the worst Call of Duty launch ever, with Warzone Mobile‘s optimization being broken as glasses on Android devices.
However, the reign of users on Warzone Mobile doesn’t just stop at the game’s reviews. A recent post on X indicates that Warzone Mobile is probably the most uninstalled game within 24 hours of release. Some players using mid-range Android phones can’t even access the download due to their processor’s incompatibility.
Simply put, Warzone Mobile is likely targeting high-end mobile devices as the minimum requirement, which is quite weird for a mobile game. Most competitive mobile shooters and notable titles are well-optimized so that their player base can grow further. So we just have to wait and see if Warzone Mobile fixes the issues and answers the user reviews call, or it’ll only remain to be played by flagship owners.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is currently available to play on Android and iOS devices.
