Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been engaged in a bitter feud for years. The once-beloved Hollywood couple called it quits in 2016. However, they have still to settle all aspects of their divorce. In addition to fighting over assets and spilling controversial comments about each other in court documents, the custody of their children has been a hotly debated topic. The duo fought for custody of their six kids in the past. Eventually, the matter died down and Pitt got to spend time with his children. However, Jolie allegedly tried to turn the kids against their father, according to a former employee.
According to the latest court docs in Jolie and Pitt’s case, security guard and company owner Tony Webb, revealed that the actress wanted her children to snub their father during his visitations. In addition, he claims that Jolie’s assistant, Michael Vieira, asked him to persuade two of his workers not to testify in the couple’s custody hearing, per Us Weekly.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s Feud Just Gets More Upsetting
“I understood that Mr. Viera was making this request on behalf of Ms. Jolie. I explained to Mr. Vieira that I had no power to stop them because they were independent contractors and not employees of SRS Global,” Webb’s testimony read. “Mr. Vieira then told me that his call should serve as a reminder that those individuals had entered into non-disclosure agreements with Ms. Jolie and that I should remind them of that and tell them that if they testified in the family law case, Ms. Jolie would sue them.”
One of those workers, Ross Foster, claimed that he planned to testify. He also said that he heard Angelina Jolie telling the kids to steer clear of Brad Pitt during their time with him.
“When Mr. Foster told me this, he also told me that if asked, he would testify about statements he overheard that Ms. Jolie made to the children, encouraging them to avoid spending time with Mr. Pitt during custody visits,”
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt share six children together, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne. After the couple’s split, the actress reportedly fired Tony Webb after working with him for several years. Webb claimed to have written Jolie to thank her for the years of employment. However, he continued to work for Pitt following his business breakup with the actress.
“I knew she blamed me for what my independent contractors had done, but that because they were self-employed, I could not control what they did or said,” Webb stated.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s divorce and dramatic feud is sad for their children, who seem to be caught in the middle. Fans are hoping that they’ll be able to resolve things in the future and that the kids can have good relationships with both of their parents.
