There’s nothing worse than two amped-up men confronting you over something that would never make a normal person upset. When a woman went to get gas at a station in Texas, she never thought a simple mistake would prompt two angry men to confront her. Unfortunately, that’s exactly what happened. They weren’t going to let her live down her mistake. Instead, they decided to berate her for it, costing everyone involved their time and peace.
Ruby (@rubyrose3338) wanted to get gas at a local Texas gas station. She didn’t realize that several people were already in line and took the nearest gas pump. This prompted two angry men, who obviously couldn’t wait, to get out of their vehicles and confront her. Ruby stated that, before she started recording, the men allegedly grabbed the gas pump out of her hand. She tells them while recording them, “If you put your hands on me, I’m going to file a police report,” to which the one man rolls his eyes and mocks her.
One of the angry men speaks up, “Call the police! That’ll take four hours. We got four hours to wait.” They puff up their chests and act like tough guys while she continues trying to pump her gas. Ruby tries to tell them that they’re wasting more time confronting her than if they had “let me put the gas in my car.” They continue telling her that she’s being “unbelievable” and should “pull forward” so they can get their gas.
Ruby tells them, “You’re acting crazy right now. You’re so upset because I didn’t know you were in line. If you would have approached me nicely, I would have said I’m so sorry.” But that’s not what they did because they’re a bunch of crazy old guys with nothing better to do. She screams, “Leave me alone!” and that’s when a worker comes in to help and break up the fight. He instructs the men to back up and asks them, “Are we good?” They continue screaming at the worker, who puts his hands up to keep them back. It’s insane that they’ve gone to these extremes to make this girl feel so bad about her mistake.
While Ruby attempts to get her gas, the worker tries to calm them down, and you can hear one of the men screaming at the top of his lungs. He goes on and on about how she shouldn’t be able to get away with cutting them in line. As one commenter mentioned, “I wonder if this made them feel big and powerful.” Another person stated, “I understand being upset that someone cut in front of you but the way they came out immediately, I would’ve done the same thing you’re doing. If you don’t know how to talk to me like a regular human being then I’m not going there with you. I love that you stood your ground.”
